Actually I was thinking this is the healthiest year for QBs in quite some time. I think the new rules are taking effect. Out of the top 20 QBs only 1 (McNabb) missed more than 1 game this season.

I kept numbers on this for years and IIRC something like 48 QBs start games every season. I posted them a few times in 2QB league threads. I will try to dig them up.

We've seen a lot more different starters in years past than this year. Also to the people who pointed out that most QB injuries have missed the big names. QB injury frequency even with all the rules to protect them shows why all those rules are in place, they are sitting ducks out there. Makes Favre and Peyton durability even more impressive

I want to say that 2006 or 2007 was injury/replacement hell with like nearly 60. Like you, I thought this was pretty light overall.
