I thought Eddie Royal was supposed to be the "Wes Welker" in Josh McDaniels new offense. I haven't seen the games, is Brandon Stokley the slot guy or is Royal?

During the preseason, the coach said that Stokely would be playing the Welker role. Not sure if his plan changed since, but that is what he said earlier.

saw Royal lined up wide a lot with Stokely inside in the slot. I don't think Royal is playing anything in the Welker role. He'd have a lot more catches if he did. Busto.
