They need all the help they can get. Frankly, a return of a healthy Tauscher, with a healthy Clifton, would make me very, very comfortable with Green Bay's offensive line.

They've said all along that early October was his return date, but obviously have taken a risk that he would sign somewhere else in the interim. Everyone loves Tausch - there is really no downside to this.

On a side point, did anyone notice that TJ Lang looked pretty good last night? I believe he is projected as a guard, but did a decent job filling in after Colledge's injury.

Lang did OK considering the situation he was thrown into. However, that's a long way away from being a solid left tackle. All Packer fans better hope Clifton and Tauscher can anchor the O line the rest of the season, or it's going to be a very long one.

I'll take my chances with Tauscher on one leg compared to the disaster of an offensive line the Packers have had through 4 games. Getting Tauscher & Clifton back would be awesome even if they are past their prime. Hopefully this will finally convince TT to use some early picks on O linemen next year.
