I don't have a link but one of my buddies sent me this today in an email,

"He is having another MRI done today. Team doctors believe that his body's inability to respond to treatment is correlated with ligament damage, which didn't show up originally do to swelling. Rumor has it that it will be announced later today he is out for the season or he will be out 4-6 weeks."

Time for Frye and Holmgren to grow a pair and start throwing it down field. Its a lost season anyway unless he can throw down field.

Yikes. Been a while since the 'Hawks had a top 5 pick. Looks like it's headed that direction this year.

Bring on Jeremy Maclin or Darrius Heyward-Bey!

As a Hawks fan I sure hope he's done for the season. They are not going anywhere this year and NEED offensive help desperately. Maclin, Crabtree, Wells..........PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOOFFFAAA

I'm betting Jim Mora thought he was in the cat bird seat next year as Holmgren retires. Now he may be taking over one of the worst teams in football. Funny how quickly things change.

Unless you are expecting the Seahawks to have a ton of injuries at the beginning of next season, I doubt Mora will be taking over one of the worst teams in football. The injuries are what is hurting the Seahawks, not the talent.

I watch every hawks game and its the lack of talent on offense/lack of a good #2CB that is hurting them.

I don't think DHB will be a 2nd rounder and Crabtree needs to show some more speed before I put him up too high.
Crabs looked pretty fast on his TD catch this weekend.
 You might be right. I haven't seen him much and his reported times might be off (somewhere around a 4.55).Dwayne Jarrett looked pretty fast against college competition too.

Thats exactly what we need. A super fast WR that cannot run routes. We already have that in Jordan Kent.IF we get a top 5 pick, we should only take a WR if it is Crabtree. If not, Jenkins or Oher.

A WR? They should get a big heavy on either side of the line or a RB. But anyway...they aren't winning without Hasselbeck and it's too bad. I thought after last year we'd be luckier with injuries but it's been even worse, oh well. Still a good core on D and there is some talent on O although they need to revamp the team and start looking ahead a little.

They need a WR without a doubt. Branch is overrated, probably better suited to play the slot, not a #1 WR (when he is healthy.. whenever that is) Bobby Engram is no spring chicken. Their D is pretty solid, another corner couldn't hurt to give trufant some help.

They need 3 things in the first 3 rounds, order doesn't matter.OL help

RB

WR

If they can get Crabtree or Maclin, I'd be for that in the 1st. If they could get Oher, they have to. They probably won't, so Monroe from VA could work.

Derrick Williams in the 2nd would be a nice fit IMO.

Starting to appear that this rumor is pretty much dead wrong.
Out this week, but talk is possibly next week. Anyone still holding him or Engram thinking they will do something? I've almost cut Engram. I keep thinking that with the season lost for Seattle that they may just IR Hasselbeck or keep him out. It sounds like he has a bad disc in his back which is affecting his knee. I would be surprised if conservative therapy will fix that, although a steroid injection may help. I assume he'll have surgery in the offseason, if not sooner, and wouldn't that make more sense if Seattle won't make the playoffs?

I would love to have crabtree for the big tall WR we lost in Hackett. If we coudl get him then some giant DT I would be happy, the D Line is kind of small.

Are you joking??!!This rumour is proving to be bang on. I highly doubt we see Hasselbeck again this season.
Oh really? I was unaware he had ligament damage.
I'm guessing they IR Hasselbeck. The season is lost. His back is bothering him. Looking a lot like the Eric Bedard situation coming out of Seattle this season in MLB. Must be something in the water.
