Major League Baseball has decided not to take any action against Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster for hitting Ryan Braun on Saturday in Milwaukee.

Dempster was ruled to have hit Braun in the helmet in the fifth inning of the Cubs-Brewers game at Miller Park, but replays showed the ball grazed his bat instead. Braun also was leaning into a bunt when the pitch sailed toward his head.
