I can't believe the doubt that surrounds Fitzpatrick. 23 TDS in 13 games last year in his first year as starter. He is now in his 2nd year in the system, locked in as the starter, has a better offensive line, a solid running game to keep defenses honest, fairly quick as a scrambler, and will still play from behind a good bit. Buffalo may not be a playoff team but Fitz can be a solid starting fantasy QB as season. The only thing working against him right now is his WRs health. If Stevie stays healthy I can see 30 total TDs. Do I think he'll end up top 10? Probably not, but don't be surprised if he does!
Uh, if he even gets to 25 TDs he'll be top 10. By the way, he already has 7.
Yep, understand, part of the reason I don't understand the doubters...
the question is...can he be a top 10, from here on out? At this point what he's done in weeks 1 and 2 are irrelevant, I'm interested in what he will do weeks 3-16. I really doubt he throws 3+ TD's in every game, so it's safe to assume a slowdown is coming, no?
True, but you can say that about anyone who started hot (including Brady). The points made, including it is his second year in the system, plys the fact thay now have three receiver options (including the TE), they are in better shape as a passing team since the year with Bledsoe, Moulds and Price, plus they have a running game to boot. Sure there will be a slowdown unless anyone truly believes he will pass for 48+ TDs this year. I doubt anyone thinks that, but the downside is a lot lower than it was last year, and much lower than it has been for years in Buffalo.

How about when it gets cold in the fantasy playoffs in Buf 15 and 16? Can the Bills run that offense in the biting wind when it matters most?

Fitzpatrick is the truth. Hold.

He proved enough to me last year and I was actually shocked at his ranking before the season began.
