Ryans named AP DROY (1 Viewer)

If you had him on a dynasty team, what would it take to part with him in the upcoming draft?
I own him in multiple leagues...Zealot format...and would probably not trade him. My experience has been that a solid LB usually nets a high 3rd round or low 2nd round pick, which is either blue chip defensive talent or lottery pick offensive talent territory. Given that I know what I have in Ryans; the fact there is nobody coming out at LB that is  and I prefer to have top defensive talent as compared to a stockpile of WR/RB players that will never live out their first contract, I would not trade him.If someone would part with a high 2nd or low 1st and I knew who was on the board, then I would consider it. However, I could never see a team parting with either for a LB in the Zealot scoring format. It is very difficult to move a great LB and get something of true value for him especially if you are trying to get access to offensive players or picks that would net decent offensive prospects. My feeling, though, is that Ryans is worth that much at this time and unless I got a very good offer I would not trade him.

Very early on in the season I traded Ryans (who I nabbed with 2006 2.12) for what turned out to be 2007 2.11 and Eric Parker (16 team league).

I would not do it again ...
