SA Owner make playoff? (1 Viewer)

Since we checked LT2..............

I was wondering if the SA owner made the FF playoffs in your main $$$ league (for those who play in multiple leagues please expound).

I play in 2 leagues and the SA owner DID NOT make the playoffs in either.

Owners made it in one of my three leagues. The guy that made it has FWP and Gore. (Dynasty). He also has Boldin, A. Johnson, and CJ. Needless to say, without the "breakout" of A. Johnson and Gore he would not have sniffed the playoffs.

........you may want to look at SA's history vs SF the past 4 games. If I remember right, I think that is a team he struggles against. I could be wrong, but you may want to check. ETA make that 3 games, I think he has only played 3 games against Nolan in SF.

He had 115 and 2 TDS and 108 and a TD last year. This year was his first game back from his injury playing with a backup QB. I'll take my chances.

I have SA and made the playoff in the weakest of the four divisions. I had a 6-7 record.

In my main 12 team redraft $$ league, I'll be making it to the playoffs (will be 8-5 after week 13) w/ SA on my roster. I haven't started him since Seattle played NYG. I've been riding w/ Westbrook & Gore, but since SA has now had 2 consecutive solid games, Gore might be put on my bench b/c he doesn't score TDs. In my other league (12 team keeper league), the SA owner is also gonna make the playoffs currently w/ a 9-4 record. Goes to show you that one can survive lack of production form a 1st Rd pick...

I owned SA in all 4 leagues I'm in, and only made the playoffs in one. Ironically, in the one I made it, I also own McNabb. If Steve Smith has a good night tonight, I'll probably win my division and enter the playoffs as the top seed.

For the record, I also owned McNabb in 2 others I missed the playoffs. My teams have been decimated by injuries all year, more than any time in the past 10 years. I've lost (or will lose) key players like Ronnie Brown, Tatum Bell, Lamont Jordan, Berrian, Colston, Hines Ward, Steve Smith Matt Jones, and Tony Gonzalez for multiple games each in my various leagues, all players I counted on heavily coming into this season.

How the hell did you do that? You had the 1,2,or 3 pick in every league? You were due some bad luck if that was the case.I also have four teams and IMO it is not that smart to draft the same guy in the first round in more than two. I would have traded down if you had the third pick in four different leagues.

I drafted SA in my league (15 owners/start 3 RB's every week). I traded him the week after he got hurt. I won't go into the details of the trade, but, I ended up doing OK earning the #4 seed in the playoffs.

One keeper, one dynasty, one redraft I had the #1 pick, and one auction (where I wasted $72 of my $200 salary cap on SA).

I had him in one league and will be either 11-2 or 10-3 after tonight...locked up #1 seed in playoffs. In my other league the SA owner ended up 5-9 (we have a doubleheader week) and missed the playoffs.

Of course the SA owner made the playoffs.....since I traded for him when he first got hurt, knowing I had the depth to stash him on my roster and hope he made a big comeback for the playoffs. The plan is working so far. Gonna lock down my division title tonight and a first round bye.

10 teams, 6 make playoffs. SA owner was tied for 6th but lost tiebreaker. He was stuck with shaky QBs (Grossman/Delhomme) and inconsistent WRs (Joe Horn). When SA was injured he resorted to starting both Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew at RB (and he actually put up some decent numbers).

FWIW:

#1 seed: Peyton/LJ/Colston

#2 seed: LT2, Steve Smith and not much else

#3 seed: McNabb/SJax/Javon Walker

#4 seed: Palmer/Gore/Chad Johnson

#5 seed: Brady/Julius Jones/Wayne/Burress

#6 seed: Vick/CTaylor/KJones/DJax/Housh

Strangely, I'm 10-2 & #2 in pts with SA yet need win & help next week to make playoffs with LT (but am #1 in pts which pays).

Had McNabb on SA team along with Gore, Harrison, Holt, picked up Colston & Ravens D. LT owner 4th in my division. LJ owner winning other division.

LT team is loaded but alot of bad luck. SA team will not make playoffs in this league. LJ team currently on 8 game winning streak.
