Mods, feel free to move to FFA if not relevant.

ATT & Nexstar greed prevent this game from being viewed in a variety of local markets.

This will become even more noteworthy if these corporate criminals can't agree how to slice profits before the regular season starts.

Ironically, your choices are 1. have an antenna or 2. pay $5.99 a month for CBS all access.

Welcome to the future of network TV.

One of the frustrating things of owning Brees last year was that they would take him out in strange situations to give the reins to Taysom Hill for gadget plays, option runs, and, I imagine, put the D on it's heels against a much more athletic QB.

The way Taysom is playing today (and to his credit he is looking super efficient) makes me think that those instances will only increase, making me further want to avoid Brees this year -- can totally see Payton continuing to put Hill in there. It won't be a QBBC, but can definitely see this siphoning off a little more of Brees' TDs/pass attempts.

We're stupid down here ... a lot of us are curious to see sixty minutes of Taysom Hill in a game that counts. Tons of us think he could do something. Is his floor, right now, better than Tim Tebow in that playoff win vs. Pittsburgh? Hill throws better than Tebow, it seems.

For those following Emmanuel Butler: brutal drop late in the second quarter, forced a punt that LA ran back for a touchdown. Payton might love the kid, but he's got a very, very short leash for mistake-prone players. Nothing is guaranteed at this point, hype or not, for Butler.

Did anybody else think that Cardale Jones looked really, really solid?  Really good decision-making is what stood out to me (even when choosing to throw it away), but also arm talent.

Call me crazy but I think Payton wants Hill to be his qb of the future. He sets sees mobile qbs like Mayfield and Murray and wants to put a similar weapon on the field.
