No kidding. His price is nearly that of Finley last year, without the production Finley had. I like Graham and think he could be a very good TE in fantasy and for the Saints, but the hype is really out of control at this point.

Is it a TE friendly offense? Shockey averaged about 4 catches a game at 10.5 yards per. He scored 6 TDs in 38 games. I'm a Jimmy Graham fan and am happy he's on my dynasty roster, but I will be drafting safer options in my redraft league.

My guess is he will be a better blocker next year than he was last year, but even based on his blocking/playing time last year, he averaged (bye week in week 10) the 7th most fantasy points for TE's in weeks 9-16 (The weeks he finally got regular playing time). I don't think he needs to be annointed. Pretty sure he is already at the doorstep.

Continue feeling good about it. Miller is production, Graham is just hype at this point. The Saints spread the ball around a ton - Graham will thus be inconsistent from week to week while sprinkling in some outstanding games.

Graham has all the opportunity and talent to be a top 5 TE option. The Saints ran plays specifically designed to get him the ball. He was off to a solid start in the final game of the season with 20 yards receiving and a TD in the first series before the high ankle sprain sidelined him. He appeared to be the passing game focal point in that first series.

Luckily for me, I have the all hype TE combo in my dynasty league with Finley, Graham, and Jared Cook.

I would be shocked if the Saints didn't resign Thomas, But I would also be shocked if Graham isn't the starter. Thaomas will get pleanty of snaps maybe 40% but Graham will get about 75%. (I know that adds up to 115%) There will be somtime both are in, especially given Graham's mismatches when he splits out. If form holds TEs will have about 140 targets. I think Graham will see about 100 of them. Graham will also steal some of Colston's targets, especially in the red zone.

Graham was split out quite a bit, and brees is one of those guys that will check down to right ends and backs a lot, so even without being in on every snap, graham will get enough targets to be in the top 5 next year in my opinion.

if I remember correctly...it actually looked looked like Graham hurt his ankle on the play before he caught the TD pass....stayed in the game and caught the TD....maybe it was the TD and then the 2 pt conversion or something like that....anyway I think Brees does trust/love the guy and his ability to make plays (go get the ball).....

I mentioned the trust factor as Brees went to him on a key 3rd down reception, and I believe another 3rd dowwn reception for a score, late in that ATLanta game. Details are fuzzy, but I thought it was late in the game.I see your points on the blocking, -he needs to improve his blocking, as Brees took multiple shots last year. Hoping a healthy running game takes some of that pressure off.
