Saints fan snatches football from Cincy fan (1 Viewer)

Was waiting for him to do the "Here you go...sike!" fake-out.

I was watching RZ when that happened, Scott Hanson just goes, "No comment."

Here's a lesson for fans who have seats in the front rows of stadiums. Everything you do is likely to be on camera. If you act like a classless jerk it's likely going viral and your name and other info about you is going to become public knowledge. The abuse he's going to get will make him wish he'd let the ball go to the woman it was intended for.

 if that happens.

I have no problem with it. She's in enemy territory...

If it were a kid, I'd have a problem with it. But two adults, especially blocking a visiting fan from getting an opponents TD ball...naw.

"Because I caught it," the Saints fan, Tony Williams, told Rosecrans. "It's very simple, I caught the football."

The classy thing to do would have been two or three Saints fans to walk down there and confront him and say, either give her the football or we're going to beat the living dogcrap out of you.

I will take a definition of the word "classy."

What do you think the reaction would be if it had been a white guy shoving a black girl out of the way to rip a ball intended for her away from her?

Yes, I played the race card.

Now that's just the idiot card. Get with it.

What a jerk. That guy probably tries to save a whole row of seats on Southwest flights too.
He did look like he was somewhere between 65-85 years old.
Not what I saw, he looked in his 20s.
no way older guy with a gray mustache
They said he was a season ticket holder since the Superdome opened. 40 years ago. So if he's likely in his mid 60's (if he got season tickets in his 20's)

I don't get it - I thought fans weren't allowed to keep the balls?
it was a ##### move, but this was my understanding as well.
Not true, of course they get to keep it.
"Of course?" For years, the balls were tracked down by security and put back into the game ball pool. Now they still come take them, but they will give the person a replacement ball that is not a game ball.
Not if a player handed it over. I only seen them track balls down it it was a kick

Not sure I've ever distinguished between the two. Hmm.

Did it cross anyone else's mind that the saints fan just needed something to cheer for?
If she had pointed at the score board once the guy was seated at the end of the clip, could've vied for best NFL gif ever.
