Saint's Homers? Whos's WR 2? Henderson or Moore? (1 Viewer)

I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on this. Moore looked good against the titans getting 10 targets and catching 6 of them for 54 yards. Watching the game it looked like Brees trusted him but he was not getting the deep looks. He looked more like a possession receiver to me, a good ppr play if he keeps it up.

Henderson obviously hasn't done anything but the depth chart has him listed as the number two.

I'm tempted to pick up and start Henderson for some reason this week. You have to believe the Saints to a long hard look in the mirror during the bye week and will finally look like the team we saw in 2006 at home against a bad secondary who has yet to post an INT.

Henderson should stretch the field right?

Although he was literally boom or bust in 2006. Often making his numbers on 2 catches. In fact, he only had one game with more than 4 receptions.

Henderson "should" be the guy; but........ Moore has caught everything. He is climbing up the depth chart and will be hard to sit if he keeps things up. He (Moore) was originally put on the roster for kickoffs, replacing Michael Lewis (now w/ SF) younger/just as fast if not faster. During training camp and pre-season he has done nothing but impressed, thus holding off on the rush to bring along rookie Robert Meachem (who is also starting to show promise).

Anyway, they love Henderson - but he has had the dropsies in the past and if that keeps up they will quickly go to a dependable Moore.

Thanks for the insider viewpoint. Henderson = high risk/high reward flyer for the rest of the season.Lance Moore = likely to stay involved in the offense whether it's as the #2 WR target or the #3 as he's reliable and trustworthy...possession WR ceiling.Meachem = still a dynasty prospect, and we may actually see him take the field in the next few weeks.
