Saints / Pats Monumental MNF Faceoff Thread? (1 Viewer)

Okay, time for an early prediction. Carney blows the game.

Got lucky banging one off the upright on that first field goal.

Slid one through on that extra point.

And on the next extra point, he just popped the ball up there, kind of pushing it instead of kicking it.

Let's see this extra point. Crappy again!

They better not need him later, he's shaky as hell.

Not a Pats hater by any stretch, and I certainly have no issues with them "running up" the scores on other teams, but I sure wouldn't mind seeing them get a taste of their own medicine tonight. Would love to see the Saints win 55-10, just for the helluva it.

Saints getting pressure with four men. After being accused of "gamesmanship" for having every one of their offensive linemen as questionable this week, I'm sure his critics will be back to applaud Belichick's continued honest workings with the injury report.

Alright Drew, calm down now... thought I was safe up 39 on my opponent going into MNF. Turns out you are halfway there already.
You up 39? I was up 50...and he's over halfway there. But I knew Brees was capable of a 50 point game.Any chance they'd pull him with a fairly big lead?

The Saints have looked dominant this quarter but the Patriots are one of the few teams capable of equal domination and quickly tying this game.

Well, 55-17, I need some points from Moss. :wall:

I'm a Saints fan and all, but I don't think 14 points--hell, I don't think 21 points--constitutes a "big lead" against the Patriots.

The announcers are already saying how Moss and Welker get the "lions share of attention" from the other team and after them the talent is mediocre on the patriots... I love the excuses the announcers give the Patriots for them. Like Drew Brees is throwing to 5 Pro-Bowlers... he has Colston, Meachem, Henderson. Give credit where credit is due, excuses are lame.

how is that making excuses?

Bc if the shoe was on the other foot they'd just be saying how great the Patriots defensive is and how they were too much for the Saints offense. When instead of saying how after Moss and Welker, the pats just don't have the talent to help Brady... instead of saying "The Saints are doing an exceptional job of shutting down all of the Patriots weapons"... I guess I'm over-analyzing but I just think that they'll never say that the Patriots are simply getting housed.

As a Jennings owner, I'm glad I don't have Colston as well. Sorry Colston owners. He seems to be a really great decoy.

This paranoid delusional complex isn't you. I'd change into something a little more comfortable.
