There's not much info. I suspect that across the season Morris will be the short yardage back for NE and will be a decent TD vulture. He will probably see more cares in games where the Pats opt to pound the ball against smaller D-lines. In games where they want to spread the field and pass more, he probably won't see as many carries.
A lot will depend upon how well Maroney does mheading forward. NE would rather Maroney succeed than Morris at this point, and they will probably still try to get Maroney to run hard and move the pile (something he has not been able to do with regularity over his 3 year career). The Pats are experimenting with using Maroney as a reciving option more (which I have been suggesting they do for about 3 seasons now).
Without injuries to some of the other RBs, Morris won't see a ton of carries, maybe 6-8 with 10 being optimistic. NE has not had a season where everyone stayed healthy in quite awhile, so there's a good chance that one or two guys will get banged up and the role sof the others will increase. Morris himself has had injury issues, so he could be one of the ones that gets hurt and misses time.
I have Morris rostered on almost all my teams this year, as he was dirt cheap to acquire and should be a decent bye week/emergency fill-in/flex guy when needed.
If you were asking about his role and outlook for tonight, I think he will play sparingly given that he missed three weeks of practice and has a finger injury. But he could get a TD plunge any given week.
