Sammy Morris (1 Viewer)

Looks like Maroney and Jordan are unlikely to play again. This week Morris gets the Broncos who are giving up huge games to almost every RB they face.

20 carries for 90 yd and 1 td

I'll go with 160 yards with 2 TDs ... he's going to be a beast! :goodposting:
I was driving the Sammy Morris bandwagon last week Thanks to his late TD he ended up with a productive fantasy game even if his overall numbers weren't great (though he came up just short of having a 2-TD game). I also like him a lot this week. FBG LOVES him. The key is New England not falling way behind like it did last week against the Chargers. I think the game being at home helps Morris a lot in that regard. I think the Patriots will be able to keep the game close and get Morris 15+ carries. And if he gets that many, I think he'll do well and possibly very well.

I think 50 yards rushing, 2 receptions for 10 yards and 1 TD is his floor this week.

Remember all the "love" Sammy was getting right before the Miami game? People were predicting 100 to 150 yards and 1 to 2 TDs. He had no competition that week from LaMont and Maroney either. Don't get me wrong I have Sammy and I'm starting him this week, but...

I think that was one of those "Perfect Storm" games for the Dolphins when everything under the sun went their way and nothing went New England's way. I think last week's game against the Chargers is a better indication of Morris' floor - double-digit carries, low rushing yardage and a few receptions. But he also scored in that game and could have had two TDs. The Dolphins are also surprisingly good against the run this season, ranking 8th. The Broncos are pathetic against the run. The key for the Patriots is to keep the game close so Morris can get 15+ carries. If that happens, I think he'll be a rock-solid RB2 this week with RB1 upside due to his TD potential.

Big DifferenceMiami is probably a top 5 Run DBroncos are a bottom 3 Run D

Hopig to see somethig from Morris. He is fillig in for Turner this week in my head to head league. Morris was a late round pick that I was hoping would give me some value on certain weeks. This is one of those weeks.

He seems to be the goalline guy right now for the Pats. Bronco D should allow for a given week, but once you think you know the NFL all hell breaks loose.

Played him last week to cover LBJ's bye, but back to the bench this week. I've got a feeling K Faulk will be more involved and maybe steal TDs.

Guessing 60 yds and a TD - IF moss or welker gets dragged down inside the 5.

Anything's possible with Faulk but in his last 60 games he's only scored a TD in five of them. It's an extremely rare occurrence for Faulk to score a touchdown. I do think he'll be very involved and like I said, anything's possible but if you're banking on TDs from the New England RBs this week, Morris probably has about a 99% chance of being the one who's going to score.

I have been flipping back on forth between Forte and S. Morris.

Just cant sit a stud for Morris who has Faulk in the mix.

Love the matchup but......geez

Should go for over 200 here
This is what NEP does, though. David also mentioned this, that they will likely give everyone a shake. TO start the second half they go to Ellis and Faulk, and Morris sits. Strange but they employ the rotation to keep guys fresh, despite of Morris' huge first half.

I traded for Morris this week and now he gets hurt. Is this new guy legit or what? He looks small to me

After LJ seemed to have blown up his season I managed to grab Morris and was feeling pretty good...until the knee injury. Hope it's nothing serious.

an update would be nice... my league has real time drop adds... wondering whether I should drop Morris now for Green-Ellis... I was out earlier. Did anybody see the play he got hurt on? updates are greatly appreciated

This is New England we're talking about here. Do you really think they are going to say today what the extent of the injury is?

They listed Brady as being questionable to return after his knee injury in Week 1. Assuming the injury isn't serious, I think Morris owners will have to wait until next Sunday to find out if he's going to play against the Rams.

BB was just asked about Morris by a Pats beat reporter. His reply: "It's five minutes after the game, Steve."
