Sammy Watkins for a 2019 1st? (1 Viewer)

What is Sammy Watkins dynasty value? I am seeing him ranked just outside of the top 20 on multiple sites, including this one. That's surprising to me given his production since 2014. 

To be honest Sammy was one of those players I never really looked into. Now that he is a trade option, I could use some opinions about his history and future value. 

I have two 2019 firsts. According to a recent article here, 2019 is going to be a down draft class and 2020 is supposed to be stellar. Is Sammy really worth a 2019 first round pick?

I probably wouldn't give up a first for Sammy alone.   He is not consistent at all and is miserable to own because you never know when he will put up a goose egg or a decent game.  I think you could get someone more consistent/valuable for that first round pick as you get closer to those drafts.   Sammy isn't going to put you over the top and probably isn't even a consistent starter based on his usage.  I wouldn't make that move.

I would not give up a 1st round pick for Watkins at this point.

I think we have seen what Watkins is.....a good talent who is a tease in fantasy.  Gally is right, Watkins isn't going to put your team over the top.

Keep your 1st round pick.
