San Diego at Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Note Bengals 8-0 at home.

Leading the league in underdiscussion in TSP, even by their own fans.

Bengals at home are a terror. Dalton at home is a different QB, 98.4 QBR vs. 80.8 on the road.

Bengals roll.

I like the Bengals here.

San Diego/Matthews/Woodhead needs to have a very strong day to win. Need to run and play solid pass D vs Cinci.....is San Diego capable of doing that?

Avenge the Freezer Bowl!

Honestly, I think this has the makings of a really good game. If SD's run d can play a solid game, this should be a good one.

*Edit* Hope that Hardwick injury is minor, that would be a significant loss.

Rivers and Mathews both look good today. Hardwick shaken up, though... big problem if he has to miss significant snaps.

I like the Bengals here too but this Chargers team seems to be that team that is the perfect combination of hot late/lucky/nobody believes in us chip on their shoulder. Wouldn't be shocked for them to go to the Super Bowl.

It's 2014. You'd think we could come up with a kicking tee that would keep the ball from falling off without restricting the kick.

I know there have not been many major calls yet, but just noticing that if the league grades refs throughout the season, why is Jeff Tripplettes crew doing a playoff game. Just the league doing whatever it wants as most of football fans know Tripplettes crew screws up more than most crews.

How did this officiating crew get a playoff game?
Probably because the league doesn't use "importance of the play to the outcome of the game" as a grading criterion.

The other crews may miss more calls, and botch more plays. But Triplette's crew botches plays that stand out as decisive to the outcome of the game, drawing more ire from fans.

In short, like the way the NFL evaluates fines, it's arbitrary and broken. And they couldn't care less.

Big miss on that throw by Rivers. That was a crucial first down missed.
Either that or the rookie ran straight toward coverage. All he had to do is run forward a couple of yards and stop.... nobody was anywhere near defending the first down marker closer to the sideline.
