San Diego at Denver (1 Viewer)

Sims having a bad night here. Clock stops on defensive penalty whether the accept it or not

:lmao: It's almost like they just need to call penalties against the chargers and forget if they're on offense or defense.

What a terrible replay call. That literally just changed the possible outcome of the game. Would be at least 10-7 San Diego heading into halftime and they get the ball at half. Now it looks to be 14-7 Denver. There should be some accountability to blatant missed calls like that. That one penalty could alter home field advantage in the playoffs. So glad I didn't bet on SD tonight or a Chargers fan, feel bad for the ones that are.

No one wants Manning to have to play an away game in the playoffs.

 Forearm was down and he still had the ball. Looked like the right call to me.

I gave up on Sanders scoring TDs and kept him on my bench the past two weeks.
Here he is.

Seriously?

GO and look at it again. His forearm was down.

I don't blame somebody who benched Sanders. He's the third option in this offense (great though he has been) and Welker still lurks for red zone targets. He just is happening to go off tonight. It seems obvious they're taking away the two Thomases and Hillman's shotgun draw runs.

Bill cowher just said its anyones game and there have been no turnovers and that could be the deciding factor.

Great analysis!

so was decker and i started him every week last year. Sure you dealt with a few duds but then you got 4 TD games out of him. Stupid to bench sanders even for steve smith.

hmmmm . . . I gotta disagree. I thought the ball was moving before his forearm was down. At the very least, it was so close as to not be indisputable. Nevertheless, the SD Defense has gotta get behind Sanders on the TD play.

He's WR12-ish in PPR leagues.

You don't bench that.

Yeah, there definitely wasn't enough evidence to overrule the call on the field. Terrible call IMO.

Not it was not. His forearm was down and it was clear. End of story.

I don't play PPR, so I'm a bit skewed. I appreciate everybody's feedback. I didn't personally bench him, I just don't blame the guy that badly. Steve Smith Sr. is number six five in non-PPR leagues. Not a terrible decision on this guy's part. That's all I'll say. He's also got Cobb and Julio Jones in a 2WR league with a flex.
