San Diego at Miami (1 Viewer)

Looks like another one of those games for the Chargers. Penalties hurt them early and the defense playing like swiss cheese against another average QB.

Landry taking over for Hartline....it's done IMO. Love him. Hartline is gone next year. He has a huge cap number. Unless he re does his deal.

Meatime Tanny is looking really comfortable in this offense now. Firing the ball with confidence.

OMG...do we have a QB? Do we finally have a real QB?
Tanny has top notch potential. He's an above average qb already.
Last season he was a disaster....this year he looks like a different player with a real OC and a revamped OL. Oh and having a running game does not hurt either.

It's nice to see this. It has been 16 years since we had a QB to really root for.

I don't believe Tannehill has ever played better.
100% agreed. It looks like the switch has finally been flipped.

Plues I remember we were all flipping about how they would never let him use his feet. And this season they are getting him going in the read option and ever since they let that loose vs Oakland he has been a different QB.

He just looked at his 1,2 and 3rd read then dumped it off.

That is a true sign he is finally getting it. Last season....one..maybe two reads max every single time...and then taking sack ager sack after sack.

Coverage sacks on half of them last season because of Tanny's lack of field vision.

Looks like a new QB this year. Amazing what happens when you bring in a new OC with a clear vision of what his offense wants to be compared to the schlock we had with Sherman.

Big hold though for SD. They can easily score 14 points in a hurry. Game is far from over.
It's over unfortunately. This D is awful. You'll get field goals or TD's on every possession and the offense is not clicking. Good win.

So Lamar, injured on the TD?
I'm watching, but doing other stuff, so maybe I missed it - I don't see him being injured. It looks like they just wanted to get the other RBs involved. Thomas fan a full series, and I think Damien Williams got a few carries as well.

Miami drive over. Lets see who's in on the next Miami drive. I'm thinking Miller's back. If not, then something's wrong.

Ok, Miller back in. Looks like the coaches are platooning the RBs. Which stinks for Miller owners. I hope that was just a one drive thing.

Miller looks quick. Not hurt. Anymore, at least, if he was earlier. I think it was just the coaches wanted to get other RBs in.

Butler has been horrid, more missed tackles across the board, no pressure even when blitzing. This defense is playing soft and getting rolled. And on offense, the interior line is getting no push and the tackles can't handle speed. I don't see the Chargers coming back, and even the bye week may not be the cure all I was hoping for. Disappointing.

Nice one minute drill by Tannehill to get Miami into FG range before the half but Sturgis misses the 45 yard FG.
I haven't gotten a chance to watch Tanny much this year. He looks really friggin good today. Perfect balls (sounds funny), gunning it all over the place. Has he been like this all year?

It's funny as pats fan I always come away thinking fish leave points on the board with Tanny missing wide open guys 2-3 times a game, but he looks good today.

Tannehill slightly overthrows an open Clay in the end zone. No worries. Next play he scrambles left then finds Rishard Matthews in stride for a TD.

Any IDPers in here? For those of us that grabbed and held on to Reshad Jones through his entire suspension - we are really reaping the rewards now. That guy is a S T U D.
