San Diego at Washington (1 Viewer)

Great special teams play by San Diego puts the Redskins at their own 1. This situation has been ugly so far this year for Washington. They've been pinned like this a few times and have done nothing.

(Stare, stare, stare, stare, and throw). "HOW IN THE WORLD DID THAT GUY KNOW I WAS THROWING IT THAT WAY??"

RGIII has to quit with the telegraphing.

Last week we stopped running read option the week after it works, then this week it's all we're running despite success with the stretch recently.

Maddening.

Just love when our WRs run 3rd down routes short of the first down. Wasn't open anyway, but just proves we have no real talent at the WR position outside of PG.

I haven't seen one blitz from the Redskins today. Shockingly, Rivers has all the time he wants so far.

Why is that ruled a 1 yard interception? Is there a rule against 0 yard interceptions?
Just like if a RB got stuffed for a safety, he'd lose -1 or -2 yards from his total. Or like how a guy can have a 104 or 107 yard kickoff return. Yardage in the endzone counts.

zero targets for Allen, but he's out there. was wide open on long incompletion toward Gates earlier. kind of strange really

Great couple of runs there by Morris.

On a side note, I hate watching Hankerson catch balls. Makes me nervous and doesn't look natural doing it.

Disappointed in Allen so far. I think a lot of people finally had enough faith in him to start him. I know I did. Crappy first half so far from him.

Could still turn out nice, but so far it's looking bleak

He looks unnatural catching the ball and also running with the ball. Great combo for a WR.

This sounds awful, but I want to see Merriweather have a career ending injury. He is a POS!

I disagree. I never wish an injury on anyone, with the exception of Tom Brady just because he's a raging D.B.

Merriweather is an A Hole. I firmly believe he will get his some day. I think he will be suspended from the nfl indefinitely at some point. Unfortunately it will come at the expense of someone's knees, motor abilities, or even scarier... Life.

Merriweather already knocked himself out of a game due to his wreck less play. It's only a matter of time before he hurts himself again

Lumbering and awkward. You'd think he shot up to 6'2" just this year or something, the way he stumbles around. A guy that big, with huge mitts like him, should be dominating DB's with his size and potential catch radius. Instead he can only catch balls in the open field (where he has no YAC skills) and plays small and sloppy.

Agree yardage in the end zone counts. But catching a kick 4 yards deep in the end zone and returning it for a TD means the returner actually returned the ball 104 yards. In this case, the DL just caught the ball and fell down. He didn't "return" the ball 1 yard, which is a nonsensical idea anyway since it was a TD as soon as he caught it, negating the possibility for any kind of return.

Well, at least he's not a starting WR or anything.

I've definitely seen 0 yard INT/fumble TDs before. Not sure why this one would be 1 yard.

That's why I'd rather that scumbag lose his career first, before he takes someone who doesn't deserve it out.

That's a good point, I out-thought myself there.

Good question then.
