***San Francisco (8-6) at Tennessee (9-5)*** (+3.5) (45.5) The Smoky Mountains Bowl on TNF! (1 Viewer)

Tennessee looks awful and their play-calling is really suspect.

Two swing passes to running backs on second and third and eight. I know you're down o-lineman, but they've been up in your backfield all night. Find a one-on-one matchup wide and hope your two receivers can win.

Terrible.

Titans squandered some golden opps in the 1st half, at bare minimum this should be 10-6 right now, not sure how they didn't get in FG range late in the 1st Half.

10-3 but they are going to need a couple more Jimmy G bad decisions along the way.

Why have Julio and AJB if you don't ever test them down the field? If they threw enough of those, perhaps that might loosen up the front side of that Defense and they could find some room to run the football which has been sorely missing.

I wanted to ask the thread posters tonight, can anyone point to one big moment he had all season? Total non factor even when he is playing, think this is a terrible fit for him or he is now washed up, seems like the wall hit quick.
No, just a few wow hands catches

Definitely seems washed up. The fit is perfect because it's where he can be the #2 or the #1 and doesn't get all the attention. It's all him BUT he is consistently playing on a recently healed hamstring. I think last year was hammy then ankle.

The storyline will probably be "a healthy Julio in 2022" but it's really on him to mature enough to stretch properly, eat properly, and whatever he isn't doing to have soooo many soft tissue injuries. The Titans or whomever need to have a trainer follow him everywhere.

He's frankly too old and has had trouble for years with soft tissue injuries. Matt Waldman pointed out over a year ago that on all-22 he was constantly leaving the field and being stretched out in Atlanta during games, even. Like missing plays even while healthy. He's actually been trending towards being done for years, and these guys hit cliffs, not valleys at that age.

I thought that INT was on Deebo. He did that non jump thing like he thought it might be to someone behind him

Need to get Kittle involved again. Hasn't seen a target since the end zone pick. Staying in to block a LOT

(Julio Jones) is consistently playing on a recently healed hamstring.
Ain't that the truth.  Julio's biggest contribution to the Titans may be the veteran knowledge he's passing on to AJ Brown. On the field he doesn't seem to have much left.

Wow. The 49ers are just suspect tonight here in the third. When one of the best OL in the league has a false start on 4th and 1, and then you go for it with Jimmy G playing like he is tonight?

Just. SMH.

This game reminds me of the 49ers - Seattle game where SF held them to almost nothing in the first half and then totally blew the 2nd half and let Seattle come back and win.

It's crazy how well I know this team.

SF looks nothing like a playoff team tonight

Kittle in 1st quarter 2 for 21

Kittle in 4th quarter still 2 for 21

Not quite.

But it is. I didn't think they'd win tonight so Im not surprised but they really looked good early and then the wheels came off.

Oh well, SF is still in the playoff hunt, so all is not lost.
