***San Francisco (8-6) at Tennessee (9-5)*** (+3.5) (45.5) The Smoky Mountains Bowl on TNF! (1 Viewer)

Aijuk stupidly kicks the ball into the stands, lucky he wasn't flagged for 15 there. Would have been brutal as Tennessee only needs a FG with 2:29, 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning

T&Ps.
Yeah. Rough start.   I’m hopeful about the rest of my team.  After mostly a dud last week outside of Cooper Kupp.   But not the ideal start.  Our matchup will likely be high scoring while other will be lucky to get either team to 90 points.

I overcame a Dalvin/Claypool 52-point Thursday night performance a couple of weeks ago. Good luck to you.

I have my work cut out for me going against Deebo and Aiyuk, down 41.3 -0 to start the week without Godwin, Hill, and now likely Fields in SF. At least I made the right move to sit Foreman tonight.

Geesh AJB "showed up and showed out" in a huge way.

Henry's return looms large now like maybe this is their year.

It would be so awesome if these supplemental players could revert back to their roles after all the playing time and experience they got

If you go into a game with the plan to not throw to your all world TE, you were out coached.

Jimmy sucks, but if you are not letting the dude throw to his best player with design plays, what is the issue?

No TE screen this game? Coaches are so arrogant and then you get games like this. Bold strategy cotton, how did it payoff?

I dont play fantasy, I just see the ignorance in not force feeding your studs, it took them forever to feed Deebo and when they did they got somewhere. When Tennessee fed Brown, they ended up winning.

Forcefeed your studs, if you are throwing to your FB out wide, you deserve to be fired. Im sure people will defend this as one bad game, no...you dont feed your best players, I will find someone who does.

Doing what the other team wants you to do is a lousy game plan.

Can't wait to see the play by play on that last play.

(0:04 - 4th) J.Garoppolo pass short left to D.Samuel to SF 41 for 16 yards. FUMBLES - recovered by SF-B.Aiyuk at SF 41. B.Aiyuk to SF 37 for -4 yards. Lateral to J.Garoppolo to SF 37 for no gain. Lateral to G.Kittle to SF 43 for 6 yards. Lateral to B.Aiyuk to SF 33 for -10 yards (J.Brown).

As far as fantasy implications, Deebo tacks on an additional 2.6 in PPR and doesn't get dinged with a lost fumble (always a danger on those types of plays). No one else gets yardage (other than Jimmy G on the pass) because technically they're all "fumble returns" which don't count as yards from scrimmage.

I believe (though I'm not positive) that if Deebo's lateral hadn't hit the ground, it wouldn't have counted as a fumble and Kittle, Aiyuk and Jimmy would have gotten credited with receiving yards (but not a reception). Then again, that would have been bad for Aiyuk managers because between his two touches he lost 14 yards

Seasons could turn on the lateral being scored as a fumble…

If the Titans can get Henry back, and AJ can stay healthy, they are SB bound IMHO. I also noticed Dupree is getting healthier every week, which adds to their pass rush.

Until SF improves at QB they're stuck where they are --- a team that at some point in the season the media says everyone should be afraid of --- in between stretches of mediocrity.

I tuned out after FG, so who stands to lose points if there is a stat correction? Deebo?
Don’t foresee any correction. The ball hit the ground so was clearly a fumble, which means none of the yardage afterward will count.

In the immediate aftermath of the game it was briefly posted as Deebo’s catch being for -2 yards, i guess because the play started at the 25 and ended at the 23. But within a few minutes it was changed to what I posted above, so I would assume that was the correction.

Years ago I had a matchup that came down to Romo on SNF. After the final Dallas drive Yahoo showed me winning by less than a point, so I turned the TV off and went to bed happy. Woke up the next morning to see I had lost. Never figured out what got changed. It probably wasn’t a start correction so much as an inputting error or something like that

Yeah immediately after the game it listed it as one catch for -2. Within 5 minutes that was changed to 1/16 (and 159 total rec yds) and hasn’t changed since

In my live scoring he went from 25.5 to 27.3 which would have indicated 1 catch for 8 yards, and it was like that until late.  This morning I got up and it was 28.1.
