Thinking about dropping braylon for him. What are you guys evaluations of moss and the type of numbers you expect from him?

vs TB

@ CAR

vs KC

He may be ok for the next 3 games, but then again, he did nothing vs STL. I'm thinking 4 catches for 50 yards vs TB. He probably won't be great, but you never know for another blow up game. We'll see how he does this week. If he goes off again, I'll have a little more confidence in him. I'm forced to start him this week due to the bye week.

The positive is Moss always has the potential to have a huge game like he had in Detroit, the bad news is how many 2 or 3 pt weeks are you willing to suffer through to take advantage of it. However, I would rather have Moss than Braylon.

He is very streaky, but maybe WAS has gone his direction a little more in play calling? His targets sky rocketed week 3 in comparison to the first two.

If by streaky you mean he has about 3 or 4 random huge games a year and streaks of 2 or 3 pts. then yes I agree. If you own S. Moss, he should be your 3 and your other two better be damn consistent.

Agree, if your roster overall is solid and consistent enough to overcome a lot of very underwhelming games from him, he makes a very good WR3, borderline WR2. He's the type of player, on the weeks he does blow up, he can win the game for you.

History says he'll have 1 or 2 more good games ALL YEAR. Good luck figuring out which ones. I own him in several dynasty leagues, and he stays on my bench unless I have injuries or bye weeks.

Is S. Moss really much more inconsistent than most WR? In 2008, 6 games with a TD. 12 games had 4 or more catches. Only 2 100 yard games. He was around the #20 WR in most leagues. He is an 80 catch, 1000 yard, 6 TD kind of guy. He is a low end WR 2/Flex. He gave me a win as my flex guy this week. I am happy with him.

With the lack of a running game, im wondering if the skins will start passing more. to me they need to go to more of a passing offense.

Zorn can't afford to be conservative anymore. I don't think you'll see many more 5 and 6 target games for Moss. Last year, he had 7 games over 10 targets. I think we'll start seeing more games like that.

Good info. I think his inconsistency is overstated - to me, a guy like Lee Evans is much more streaky.Sure, Santana is no Andre Johnson or Steve Smith (the Carolina one, up until this year) in terms of week-to-week consistency, but there are tons of top notch WRs that are also inconsistent.

He has 3 GREAT matchups coming up. You have to stick with him after Zorn finally got his head out of his ___ last week and got the ball to him.
