He's fine. Prior to the game (late last week, I think) he said he feels great.His drops were costly. I believe two of them were on 3rd down.
Looking at the game stats and hearing about Campbell's eratic play, maybe he never got into a rhythm and wiffed on a couple easy fastballs so to speak. Good assessment?
Everytime he caught or dropped it, there was a defensive player hitting him. There was on;y one paly that I recall that he was wide open and Campbell over threw him. Moss was harassed for the most part, evertime he touched it. Still no excuse, but it surely didn't help.
Well, they certainly weren't what he's used to with Brunell. He never got into a rhythm because he dropped a couple early in the game.
Looks like he got 7 targets and 3 catches. However, Campbell only had 21 attempts, so Moss got 1/3 of the looks. I'm trying to remember that pre season target analysis, but this seems healthy to me.

Uhhhh, none of the Redskins had many targets...it was a bad passing day for the them. Partly because of the Defense, partly their Offense and partly Campbell over throwing/high not excactly on the mark with his passes. The running game was working for them in their attempt to play ball control. Randel-El was the only player that did much in passing game on a few long passes, which JC looked awesome on his long ball accuracy.
Campbell needs to work on those short-intermediate passes. Not enough tough. Overall, he played reasonably well given his lack of experience. Pretty much what I expect from him this year. He's going to be a very good qb once he learns how to play the game. Hopefully the Skins can continue to run the ball the way they did yesterday.
It's encouraging that he seemed to go to the right place with the ball on most plays. It's just that there were some errant throws and some drops. The first INT was really the only bad read, according to my view from my couch.

Seriously, I think ARE enters the ranks of secondary WR starters in FF this year. I'd certainly rather have Moss, but I think Campbell's development and Saunders' willingness to take shots downfield, plus the staff clearly figuring out what ARE's best routes are, will have a big effect on his value.
