Sanu's value with Marvin Jones coming back in Week 5? (1 Viewer)

Sanu is still out there on waiver wire - deciding whether to grab him or instead pick up Marvin Jones looking long term rest of the season.

Jones should be the starter when he is back (reports are saying Week 5)

Pick Sanu up this week. If he blows up, try and flip him and pick up MJ during his bye week (most people do not pick up bye week players).

Assuming AJ Green is back week 5 along with Jones, and based on what I've seen from the first two games, it's going to be a lot of 'take what the defense gives you' with a side helping of 'force it to AJ deep'. Dalton appears to be going through his progressions really well (zero sacks/hits) will help that.

I just don't see consistent production from either of them. I think Jones has the higher ceiling and floor, but he's going to throw those 3/25 stinkers out there as well.

I now think there is room for both Sanu and Jones in the fantasy world. The Bengals have Eifert on IR-return and Alex Smith on IR. They have been employing more 3-WR sets as witnessed by the targets that Sanzenbacher and Brandon Tate have been getting.

Sanu being more up to speed at the moment makes me believe he's the better option right now. I think league that value long-distance touchdown probably give more of an edge to Marvin Jones.

Sanu is healthy and playing now which I think makes him more valuable than Jones. Even if and when Jones returns, he is not AJ Green and we don't know how long it will take for him to be playing at 100%.
