Saturday Night NFL football (1 Viewer)

I don't know about the rest of you, but from most of the guys I've been talking to at work and family, there is nothing better than watching NFL football on Saturday nights. Ever since the Pats/Oakland playoff game in the snow a few years back, I've been hooked. There is something so peaceful about being able to sit in your warm home at night...kids and wife in bed, just you a cold beer, and a great game on the tube. And the what makes it the best...NO WORK to worry about the next morning.

I know that there are issues with TV rights w/ college ball, but somehow starting in Dec, it sure would be nice if the NFL Network would scrap the Thurs. night crap and switch to Saturday nights. Both the NFL teams and fans would benefit from that. Do you guys love the Sat night football as much as I?

Dislike it. While I can understand why you married FBGs would prefer it, the younger crowd would much rather have it on a Thursday so that their Saturday nights are free imo.

I bet a poll on this would fall strictly on married/unmarried lines. I loved it because it gave me an excuse to hit the bar on Saturday night without the wife in tow.

Married. And love Sat pm football. Kids asleep, wife reading. Me and a good game. Sun afternoons are much harder now a days.....
