Scoring Question - INT on Two Point Conversion? (1 Viewer)

On the attempted two point conversion at the end of the San Diego/Kansas City game, the pass was obviously tipped and intercepted before it hit the ground. Was this not counted as an interception in the stats? Or does it officially not count as an interception because it was a two point conversion and therefore could not be potentially returned? In a very close matchup the fate of my team could depend on this being scored as an INT.

Oh, and in before someone questions my judgement for starting the terrible Chargers defense.

It counts only as a failed try. The INT is irrelevant.
