Scott Fujita is a good person (1 Viewer)

Guys like this need more publicity not because they want it but as an example to show our kids good choices successful people can make.

A class act.

1/4 of his Super Bowl check to Haiti & 1/4 to New Orleans charities, even after Saints don't seriously try to re-sign him & he leaves for Cleveland.

so a multi-millionaire donated a whopping $40,000 out of an $80,000 bonus? big freaking deal.
Ah, good one. I expected to come in here and read the usual "If he was really a good guy, we wouldn't hear about this because he'd do it secretly and not draw attention to himself." But, the "He should have given more" comments are quality, too.

Unfortunately he just signed with Cleveland. Trading the city of New Orleans and a Super Bowl team for Cleveland and the Browns seems like an error in judgment, no matter how much they pay you.

There are probably parts of Cleveland that resemble a third world country. Fujita will help clean up the city.

Fun facts about Cleveland! Some of this might be inaccurate because of how it's measured, but it will give you an idea of some of the problems of Cleveland:Income/Employment among US Cities (2008):#1 in poverty (32.4%)#13 in unemployment (12.2%)Crime Rates among US Cities (2008):#8 in violent crime#9 in murder#1 in rape#1 in robbery#2 in burglary#5 in auto theft#2 in arsonYears since Cleveland has won a major sports championship: 46 and counting (Browns in 1964)Yeah, Cleveland has some problems. Enjoy your stay Scott Fujita! :bag:

I think it's twofold: one part the fact that the Saints want to go younger at that position and part two the fact that the Browns offered likely 5 times the amount the saints were reported to be considering offering. He was a great Saint and will be missed. i hope he actually does well in Cleveland
