I came across this and it gave me some things to chuckle about. Among those...

Scout.com Rankings

Laurence Maroney 5th overall player.

Travis Henry 27th overall.

Reggie Wayne highest ranked WR.

Courtney Anderson 22nd ranked TE over unlisted guys like Olsen and Miller.

Actually there is a Steven Jackson on the Carolina roster and he went to Clemson and is in his second year :excited: not the one someone would usually rank #2 but he is a runningback at least :excited:

Geez, you'd think a Panther homer and Clemson alum would know the difference.....

I never heard of the guy, technically he is a FB, too.....but you think I'd know something about him. Another Tommy Bowden no name that fails at the next level....shocker.

I find it unbelievable that they actually did not catch that before posting the list.

I've been telling you that those Bowdens can't coach.....

Well, one of 'em can't. They should DNA test Tommy and see if he really is a Bowden.

Their 2-star tier (RB37-39):

Norwood, Barlow, Duckett.

Norwood and Barlow back-to-back is just sad. Ouch.

In fact, this whole list is a mess. Every list has value though, and this one's worthy of printing and anonymously spreading around the room on draft night prior to the draft. ;)

You don't know the half of Scout.com's ridiculous fantasy content. Last year I got soo pissed with them that I contacted one of the team board managers about the absurd fantasy content and offered to do rankings/lists/etc and he got back to me. It turns out that Scout.com was partially sold to FOX Sports and FOX Sports was just launching their fantasy football leagues last year. So the guy contacted me back and said he wasn't in charge of hiring but he'd see what he could do. It turns out that Scout had/has some 20 something year old kid who worked for free doing their fantasy content in the 05 season and that Scout had just hired him last year but the guy I contacted said they would take me on for fantasy rankings and to provide other fantasy football content. Scout was/is missing the boat on the growth and potential of fantasy football. They have built in passionate fans from all teams. They could pit top fantasy players from each board and make a fantasy Super Bowl. But I digress, they contacted me with my first writing assignment, guess what it was?

I was given the assignment to write a FLUFF PIECE on the brand new FOX fantasy league boards and I was given a list of all of the features I was instructed to include in the story. I told the guy I couldn't write that crap because I had no idea how the FOX fantasy league boards worked. He set me up with a free account and I said I still couldn't write a piece pitching the boards because I would have no idea how the software worked until I went thru a draft and saw if their were any bugs and how they responded to any suggestions/complaints. I said I'd write about the new boards and explain that I was not endorsing them but do the story in a way to ask people to try it and to compare to other fantasy boards. They did not want to hear that so they yanked the offer to me and backed out of hiring me. Well as you can see, their contact sucks dog feces thru a straw.

Scout.com is a complete and utter joke. They are lackies for FOX Sports who is a partial owner. Fox also owns MySpace and Scout.com boards pimp the snot out of that piece of crap and anything that Rupert Murdock owns. Fox neocon news does the same thing, they hire people and make them report what they want to push on people they are taking the free press and get their grubby hands into any Internet content that has traffic or potential to get traffic. They hire people with no moral values so they become hired guns to pimp their lame propoganda and lamer content products like Scout.com fantasy crap. They obviously don't care what they put out. They are a complete and total joke. The Fox Sports news is just local stringers who file reports and the corporate jerks slap that POS FOX logo over it. Thank god for Footballguys and other sites with real content who are actually passionate about the things they report and aren't evil robotic manufactured coporate lackies like Scout.com and FOX Sports.
