Now that I look back at it it may have been funny material. They just needed to find a talented comedian to deliver the lines. I didn't find it funny but it did not upset me. I found it strange that they would insult their fans. That would be like Luby's making fun of old people.he is a comedian after all !! comedians often make fun of people including race, sexual orientatoin, handicap, gender , fantasy footballers etc etc,

What are they going to do, stop watching games? Stop playing FF?Seriously, what's the down side of this for the NFL?I don't care what Kimmel's apologists are going to say. You DON'T bite the hand that feeds you. Fantasy football is good for the NFL and they know it. The league should be pissed.

They also watch the game differently than those who play FF. I truly believe that a lot of the "real" enjoyment of watching games is lost because of FF. Rather than watching for the sheer enjoyment and appreciation of the game, FF players just care about certain individuals in the game, rather than the teams involved (big picture).Don't know about that, I would bet there are WAY more people who watch that aren't in fantasy football. At least I know tons more people who won't play fantasy sports but watch football religiously.It is interesting though that the NFL's half time entertainment would be a joke on a very large group of its fan base.

on't listen to naysayers like Jimmy Kimmel, who used his new halftime pulpit on ABC to belittle fantasy owners and inadvertently started a Biggie/Tupac-level feud with me that can only end with both of us being riddled with bullets(And by the way, it's interesting that Kimmel would rank on anyone else's hobbies when the undisputed highlight of his summer was buying a pizza oven.)
