SD WR's this week? (1 Viewer)

Yes I have been wondering the same and it appears that we can pencil in Seyi and Naanee and possibly Floyd. For a prolific passing offense- there is a chance that on or two of these guys will b a solid FF playoff receiver with the Gates conundrum. I grabbed Seyi for his deep threat abilities.

They didn't need much WR production last week against Indy. Unless the Raiders blow up, could be another game where all they do is run the ball and get defensive TD's.

Eventually- they will have to throw the ball as they will not have the lead in games. Hey I have the Bolt defense so I will take the TDs from that unit. I see a rough day coming for the Raiders. They struggled with the Dolphins so this one might be rough. In the long run- Rivers and company are going to be throwing and someone is going to benefit especially with Gates, Floyd and V-Jax being dinged up.

The Colts really overplayed the deep passes and left the RBs open underneath all night. I guess they'd game-planned for the Chargers having Vincent Jackson, Malcom Floyd, and Legedu Naanee all healthy. But whatever the reason, the Chargers didn't go to the WRs because they took what the Colts' defense gave them, and that was the underneath stuff.I don't expect the Raiders to use the same approach. The Raiders don't give their CBs as much deep help. They will play closer to the ball. The Chargers may need to hit the WRs down the field this week.As far as I know, Floyd and Naanee will start, with Ajirotutu playing in the slot. (Naanee and Ajirotutu can both play in the slot or outside, so they're interchangeable in that regard.)If the Chargers do happen to get a decent lead, Floyd would probably be the the first one to get pulled.(Gates is expected to play as well, and would likewise get pulled if the game appears to be in the bag.)
