Seahawks at Panthers (1 Viewer)

Argghhhh.

Olsen definitely needed to and should've caught that one. Newton with a 30 yard bullet that split the defenders and bounced off Olsen's hands.

Newton looking good - big play prior to the TD by Smith making the DB miss on a tackle - and Newton pays him back

Brutal.

10 yard sack on 2nd and 7, knocking them way out of FG range.

Alexander throws a punch. Personal foul, 1st down, and tossed from the game.

Fumble bailed'em out, but that was about to turn the tide of the game.

The Seahawks traditionally struggle to win east of the Mississippi. Last year was crazy for them. They actually won 4 games east of the Mississippi, which is possibly some sort of franchise record for them. I couldn't find an instance of them ever winning 4 before. Unfortunately, the schedule required them to win 5 east of the Mississippi, and they lost at Atlanta instead.

This game is a test of franchise history vs how the team bucked the trend a year ago. So far, it looks like franchise history is winning out.

Anyone else go crazy and scoop up Carolina D after their impressive pre-season week 3? It's early but they are looking like they might be a difference maker.

Seahawks have 4 games east of the MIssissippi which should all be tough for them in 2013. Carolina, Indianapolis, Atlanta, and New York (Giants),

I did in a few leagues and started them in one. Kuechly looks unreal and poised to be one of the top LB's in the league and that front seven is legit. Lotulelei is making some teams regret letting him slide.

If games are won in the trenches then Carolina should win this one; the Seahawks line is banged up and they have no pass rush.

This is also the Seahawks 3rd consecutive game east of the Mississippi, which is very likely another record for them. They won @Washington, Lost @Atlanta, now @Carolina.

I'm hoping Ted Ginn Jr can throw some love my way too.

I know the Seahawks suck on the East Coast but damn this is crazy. I figured there would be at least 1 or 2 more TDs on both sides at this point.

Tate/Rice/Baldwin anyone want to break this down? Wilson 75% completion, they still are losing
Baldwin seems like the go to, but I don't any part of any of them.

Tough to tell much though. CAR is killing them up-front, and they are lucky to have 6 points they do have at this point.
TY Pollard. Had high hopes for Golden Tate, that looks liek a swing n a miss at the moment.

I wouldn't worry much. Just a funky game all-around (and the Panther D is pretty good).

Shut Lynch down and let Wilson take this F-er over the rest of the day! Most teams would ride their QB into the ground with 70%+ completion percentage. Lynch is doing jack crap.... I wont over react to much but just glad I avoided Lynch in all drafts, even though the Panthers D is supposed to be pretty good.

Wow, CAR turning to the running game trying for the 4th qtr. comeback. Working nicely so far.
