Anyone have any info on how Devin Moore looked? I see 8 for 30 or so, but am assuming that was fourth quarter stats. He fell big time in the draft, but many before thought he had what it takes.

Any thoughts?

He looked a lot better than Forsett. Moore is quick with a great burst. What I liked best is that he never hesitated while running.

Didn't look to bad, alot bigger than I thought he was, he had a few plays and ran straight up the gut. He is a project with a few bodies in front of him.

What about Gartrell Johnson?
He didn't do much, and I didn't see much to get excited about with him. He flashed zero moves, just hit the holes. He's a bulky guy and fell forward well at the end of runs. I don't think he's a long term replacement for LaDainian, but I'll reserve stronger judgment until I see more of his snaps. The guy who ran best last night for the Chargers was Michael Bennett. Keep an eye on him throughout the preseason for those of you looking for LaDainian insurance. He's the guy behind the guy behind the guy I think.

Charlie Martin was the most impressive guy last night in the back end of the game. Got open just about every pattern and caught everything they threw at him. Could be another Welker/Camarillo in the making.

Gates looks great - he'll be the #1 TE again in the NFL this year if he doesn't get hurt.

Merriman looked very tentative out there. I saw no acceleration or speed from him last night. I hope it's just rust, we'll see.

Buster Davis handling all return duties was interesting - those planning on return yards for Sproles might want to watch that. I think it's just Buster's last chance to show anything. The announcers last night were talking about how he might be on the bubble. He didn't do much noteworthy as a receiver last night - in fact I think he ran a couple of bad routes, one of which may have caused one of Whitehurst's interceptions.

The Seattle D looked allright - pretty aggressive for preseason. They could be a decent FF option, especially considering they get 4 against the rams and 49'ers.

The biggest takeaway for me was that Hasselbeck is ready to go and it looks like he may have the best collection of targets he's had in a while - with or without Branch. I was impressed with both Taylor and Obamanu. Carlson didn't get many looks. I don't see their running game doing a whole lot. I think waiting on QBs and taking Hasselbeck late will be an ingredient in more than a few FF championship teams this year.
