Seahawks Didn't Select a RB (1 Viewer)

I must say I thought one of the surest things in the draft would be the Seahawks picking a RB is the 2nd or 3rd round. Where does that leave thier RB sitation now?

Even right down to the 7th round they had the perfect opportunity with 3 picks from 245 to 248........and they passed on Rashad Jennings.....amazing. As a 49ers fan I'm well relieved.....and a fantasy football fan, Seattle would have been a super spot for Jennings to fall into.

Makes little sense for them to pass on Jennings or even Ian Johnson in the mid 200s.

If they don't like any of them, then I guess there's no need to pick one. I can only assume they thought all the RBs sucked, because it wouldn't take much to upgrade the position from last year.

It looks like the two headed monster of JJ and Ducket will reign terror on the NFC west once again.

I am fairly well confused about their second day performance. Maybe they talked to Denver about their RB surplus when they made their trade. Not at all a fan of the QB pick...

I can only think that they're giving Jones a one-year shot, and if he sucks, they have an additional first-rounder next year that can help address this.

But Morrah over Jennings was just wrong.

should be plenty of backs that get cut if they want to searchDoes this show confidence in Forsett?
Edge James (ARI takes Beanie Wells)? Thomas Jones (Jets jump up for Shown Greene)?
I don't get the love for Edge. He's not going to last a whole season playing like he did in the playoffs. I don't think he's got the quickness anymore to be a one cut runner. His "wife" just died and quite frankly I'll be surprised if he doesn't just retire and be with their kid.Wouldn't mind seeing older brother come to town and the two Juice, I mean Jones Brothers duking it out for the reps. TJ has always played well for teams that seemingly don't want him...

Didn't Jones have that shot last year?
