Seahawks Michael Bennett threatened by police (2 Viewers)

Well, the silver lining here is that white people have been made to feel uncomfortable. You know, the one's that tripped over themselves defending this liar.

Wow shocking news that Bennett is a race baiting liar. Who could have seen that coming?
Against my better judgment...Based on what evidence? I'm guessing you will point to the edited TMZ video. There's a long portion of time that was clipped out. Am I wrong here?

Well, for one the 3 officers involved in the pursuit were minorities (2 hispanic and 1 black) and there's clear video of him crouching down to sneak out and then run. So he wasn't just doin nuthin. He wasn't arrested for being black. He was told why he was being detained and he was let go as soon as they figured out who he was. He's a liar.

I was correct. I shouldn't have bothered to engage you in a conversation. My apologies. Have a great day.

Are these body cams hidden?  How can he be so dumb to think this footage wouldn’t get out?

And here we have the problem. People are naive enough to think that the footage you're seeing is all the footage. Did you not see that the portion of the "arrest - non-arrest" (whatever you want to call it) where the cop has his gun in the back of Bennett's head telling him he's going to blow his head off is so conveniently edited out? Actually, I don't know the entire story or what exactly was said, but I've read enough and seen enough other photos and video to know there was a lot more than what's in that TMZ snippet.

As I type this I'm wondering to myself... why bother? There's way too many people that only read and see what they want so that if fills their particular narrative. No matter how I might try I have serious doubts that I can help someone see a different narrative or even remotely consider that there's nuance going on here. We don't have to pick sides. It is possible that both parties are way out of line. One doesn't have to be one party is all wrong and the other all right.

If you're polite, respond affirmatively to police commands, and not do anything shady your interactions with the police will be smooth as silk.

Where have you seen this video that shows there is a lot more going on than what TMZ is showing?

So, you have seen video where the cop put a gun to the back of Bennett's head, and threatened to blow his brains out

BUT

You also state that you don't know the entire story nor what was exactly said

The Nevada police did not deny that the first officer that detained him held a gun to his head and threatened to "blow his ####### head off."   His body camera was inexplicably disabled.

Big props to this Enforcer poster... While I'm not familiar with his work, at least he has the guts to come back when blatantly incorrect, and then not only own it, but instead double down.

Excellent job. FWIW, I didn't post a thing about this until the information was out.

@Enforcer - there were about 800 videos pieced together on this. Furthermore, the end of the 'conflict' looks pretty cordial, no?

I don't really need a response, keep up the good work

A lot of people don't care what the facts are.  They 'know' what cops do, so even if all these examples that come up prove to be false it does not matter because they still represent 'the truth' as they know it.

Liberal media main story when he's crying foul.  Now there's proof he's a lying fool and barely a peep from them.  This is exactly why people don't trust the media and many  :lmao: when someone claims they are honest and just report the news.
There's something else that's a slightly higher priority in Las Vegas law enforcement news today.

So where is the video where the cop threatens to blow his head off and uses a bunch of expletives?
The tricky part here is that there mysteriously isn't video of when Bennett was actually taken down. There is a gap in the timeline. And the video that shows exactly what happened during that time doesn't exist because the officer had his bodycam turned off.

seems fishy right?    so the video shows everything that was right with the night in question, but not any of the bad stuff, or what Bennett said happened.    hmmm    Not saying who is right or wrong, or even picking a side, but come on with this "bodycam was turned off" ####ake.

And in every statement made, there is no denial of Bennett's version of the facts regarding the officer's threat.  They just said "it's being investigated."  Their conclusion that they didn't use excessive force or that his detention wasn't racially motivated makes no mention of Bennett's assertion of what happened.

I have no idea what you're trying to say to me.

Why is this a problem? I said they might both be in the wrong. I guess its a problem if you think I'm picking sides.

If a room full of people are told to get down or stand still after suspected gun shots, and someone decides to hide then run, I have no problem with an officer holding his weapon on that someone until they're in cuffs

Not surprised even a little bit

This is quite ironic.  Bennett himself last season....

“To me it’s a scary, [expletive] move. Honestly, I think if you dive at someone else’s legs, you’re a little [expletive],” Bennett said, via the Seattle Times. If you are big in the NFL, you just line up and play — why you got to cut someone on the [expletive] play? I mean, I don’t know. That [expletive] is just stupid to me. Why cut somebody when you can just line up and win? I don’t know. I don’t come off the ball jumping at offensive linemen’s legs.”

I would express what bad things I would like to see happen to him. But i dont want to be banned because apparently you can't do that in these forums. Either people are too sensitive or certain people are fans of this piece of garbage.

Would love for someone to read that to him and ask for his comments.

It's pretty obvious, at this point, that Bennett's a chump. It has nothing to do with the anthem or police brutality, it has everything to do with him being a chump.

Like Schiano was.

Hard to believe there are no Seahawks are getting suspended for the end of that game.  It’s the closest thing I’ve seen to the Pistons Pacers brawl in a long time. Actually, this is the NFL we are talking about.  Not suspending anyone falls right in line with the incredible inconsistency this league has with anything.  Vince should bring back the XFL, the NFL is a joke.
