Sean Taylor's BIG HIT (1 Viewer)

I think it just goes to show what kind of person/player Taylor is when he goes out there and tries to put the biggest hit on a punter in a Pro Bowl. The guy's a scumbag. Simple as that.

Football is football even in Pro Bowl. If you don't want to receive a hit, go play tennis.

I'm as much of a let them play guy as anyone, but lowering a shoulder on a punter like that in an exhibition game is bush league. Not a fan of the fake punt either. Did think it was pretty funny that Taylor unloaded from the tips of his toes on the chin of a dinky punter with no effect.

I'm a 'Skins fan and I fall into the :nerd: category on this. On the one hand it's football and the punter is running for a 1st down on a trick play. What's he supposed to do?

OTOH I get that it's an exhibition and there's an understanding.

It wasn't a dirty hit, and it is amusing to watch so whatever. And yeah, I agree that Moorman took that hit better than some that Taylor has levelled.

Nothing wrong with that play boys ... its FOOTBALL ... GET REAL!
No doubt. What happens if Taylor let's up on him and Moorman lowers his shoulder and runs over Taylor? Taylor becomes the laughing stock of the league. Taylor was just reminding Moorman that he's a punter and not a running back.

Faking a punt in the Pro Bowl is Bush League. He deserved a smack in the face and I enjoyed it. He may be a scum bag but it was a nice hit

I have to agree with this. Too bad he doesn't do this often enough in real games.

Unless you're being sarcastic, you have no idea what you're talking about if you're trying to say that he only does it against punters or only does it when he's got a cheap shot in an exhibition game. He throws his body around all over the place, and if anything does it too much. He had one of the most vicious clean hits I've ever seen in a football game against Willie Parker in 2004. He absolutely laid out Jerry Porter on a post route in 2005. He's had a number of plays (Tatum Bell, Priest Holmes and Moe Williams come to mind) where he's met RB's at the line of scrimmage and pancaked them. Mr. Peterson is on some sort of crusade against Taylor. I don't care if you don't like him personally - he's certainly had his share of problems. The guy is a flat out baller though, and there's not a team in the league that wouldn't take him if they could.

:goodposting: If you don't watch the Redskins regularly you probably just don't know. Taylor makes big plays on defense and special teams on pretty much a weekly basis. And he has for as long as he's been in the league. There's a reason there is no shortage of Taylor highlight videos available on the net.

To reiterate redman's sentiments, you don't have to like him off the field. But, anyone who knows football would give an arm and a leg to have their team's safety play as hard as Taylor does.
