Seattle Weather (1 Viewer)

damn... i was going to start DeSean Jackson too... 2nd guessing it now seeing it's probably not going to be a shoot out.

As if the offense wasn't already focused around Westy. He should easily see 30 total touches today.

90% chance of rain.Any homers have some comments on the weather?
Haven't seen the local weather report, but looking out my window, it's coming down fairly steadily, and has been all night. Not a torrential downpour, but from what I'm seeing, 90% chance of rain seems right on the money.Does not look too windy right now, though.

I know it's just a kicker, but I'm unhappy about my decision to pick up Akers to cover Kasay's BYE this week. Oh well....guess I'll just get 3-4 pts instead of the 6-8 I had hoped for....

Woke up this morning and commented to the wife how hard the rain is coming down. I'll be going to this game and fully expect to be drenched. Looks like the rain has let up a bit but it's VERY overcast.

great call thanks for reminding me.akers was kickermania's #1 this week when the list first came out. Now he's dropped precipitously (no pun intended).

All radar and weather maps show that that is one massive storm over the Northwest. Fully expect non-stop downpour. Lower passing game expectations, RB and Def get more opps.

I am at work right now with full view of Qwest Field (Seahawks Stadium)...it was raining like heck on the drive in but as of right now it's stopped. Seems decent enough. There does seem to be some wind from the south though. GO HAWKS!!!

What does this do to Carlsons routes? Are his routes more downfield? I haven't seen him play this year but I would think if his routes are more in the 5-9 yard range, the wind shouldnt affect him that much? Can any Hawks homers chime in?

shoot -- would the rain and especially the wind be enough to get you to change McNabb for another good qb today? i have Schaub who's been on fire, but he has a tougher matchup vs. the Vikes (could go off if they can't run -- but he could get creamed by the pass rush).

How does this affect the Seattle running game vs Eagles D? My thoughts is that with the weather taking away the passing game, Eagles can stack the box against Jones. But with a slippery field, does this make backs like Morris a sneaky start for dumps and swing passes out of the backfield?

I was actually playing McNabb over Rodgers in a couple leagues...........but have since changed my mind. Thanks for the heads up on the weather, I know how ugly it can get up there.

Rain in Seattle isn't like rain in other places in the states. I'm looking outside right now and its just a light misting and drizzle. Currently no umbrella necessary. Come to think of it, I don't own an umbrella. Just don't need one living here because it rarely rains that hard.

I was just up on the roof of my building and the wind is definitely picking up.

according to KOMO, rain this morning changing to showers this afternoon -- but with breezy conditions.

I live in the Northwest and it rained all night long and most of the morning. Currently it has stopped, but it won't be stopped for too long.

the footing isn't all that bad. it's fieldturf and built to drain quickly.

WOW! I just looked outside again and its coming down in buckets. That was crazy. Sudden downpour. Started hitting the roof and echoed through the whole house. Gotta think it will slow way down before kickoff.

Rained hard enough to block the DirecTV signal. Dang.

Confirmed. Looking like a VERY nice day all of a sudden. Maybe a little shower later but nothing serious.

Weird morning for me. Rain gone now. Looks like its clearing up nicely.
weather channel still says showers at gametime, 60%, but the radar is clear.this makes me reconsider curtis over T.O. now....

Very clear now. No rain, and getting a few sun breaks here at our place. If it does rain today, I think its very light.

It's absolutely dumping rain and blowing like crazy. terrible conditions.
Huh?Not according to what I see, and not according to the radar... http://www.komonews.com/weather/radar
sure thing there chief. since i am in the middle of downtown, 1 mile from the stadium, i think your radar can cram it.
 You watch the game their, "chief"?

Has there been a drop of rain? Crazy wind? Not sure what planet you're on, Mr. Humble.

not since the game started there hasn't. but when i made my prior post, at 1:37 this board time, from my office on the 18th floor of my building overlooking the stadium, it was dumping rain and windy. perhaps it was short lived. but whatever you saw, and whatever your radar said, doesn't really matter to me since i will just go with my own eyes.

i will just go with my own eyes.
Have you considered starting your own weather service? Something with a catchy slogan like "#### the radar, I got eyes".Rich. Just save face and let it go. It wasn't terrible weather. Its rarely terrible weather here. Folks all across the country think it just rains here all the time when thats just a falacy. I'll leave and let you have the last word.
