I've assumed they are exactly what they say they are; a second opinion.
Despite charts and statistic based predictions, a lot of this hobby is about what someone thinks is going to happen. To clarify, nobody really knows.
So, although the Dodds and the guys put a lot of effort and research into guessing what players will do, it is just their opinions. The only "facts" in fantasy football is what has already happened.
