Seeking Honest, Reputable Pay-League Service (1 Viewer)

Currently feverishly going thru the stages of grief regarding Phenoms Fantasy Football going under, and taking most of our entry fees with them (see other thread).

Most of my leagues are with Yahoo, which is a reasonably happy playground with 90% of entry fees returned as winnings and a nice fish/shark ratio. But, their format makes for super-shallow leagues, and I'll miss the deep and varied formats at Phenoms (and my money).

The smart thing to do is to find another hobby, but that's not happening. Any recommended sites?

Sound advice. However, I play in nine leagues and am looking to play in many more next year. (addiction is just another way of liking something a LOT). So, the convenience and scaling of paid-commissioners has appeal.

Also, are we really so sure LeagueSafe is, um...safe? I though Phenoms was, until yesterday.

I started running my own leagues after getting screwed out of a lot of money last year

thought phenoms was trustworthy as well and lost money this year

the BEST thing for us to do is each be commissioner of several leagues and use leaguesafe

that way the payout is 100% and we know we will get our prizes unless leaguesafe goes backrupt also

Playing free leagues is not something you have interest in?

What, like free leagues (no entry fee, no cash involved) at ESPN or Yahoo? Zero interest. Half the players drop out midseason or don't set their lineups. Boring.

I understand that and why I only play in a money league now. And that is right- "a" league. (2 leagues in one year is my limit now.)Since you are having issues with Phenoms and free leagues are not an option, then you have to join leagues where the commissioner has a team.
