ASJ's first reception was a lucky one. Winston underthrew him near the sideline, and the ball should have been intercepted, but it bounced off the defender's hands and into ASJ's. If the defender had secured the ball, he'd be short two receptions and a touchdown. ASJ followed this play up with a touchdown reception on a shllow out route, beating the defender in coverage and making it an easy throw for Jameis. His second touchdown reception was an impressive 41 yard catch-and-run in the 4th quarter. ASJ "high-stepped" into the end zone despite his team being down 41-7 at the time of the score, drawing some criticism, though surely not from his fantasy owners. ASJ efficiently converted 5 of 7 targets for 110 yards and 2 scores, but as noted earlier, two of those receptions were pretty lucky.
Mike Evans will surely soak up some red zone targets once he's back, so this could go down as one of ASJ's finest performances this season. However, he obviously has the physical tools to post big numbers, if
Jameis Winston and the Bucs offense can get their act together as a whole.
