Agree on mariota, peterson, olsen but not the rest.

Buy bradford, j matthew and ertz...you wont be able to after this weekend.

Add Eifert to the sell high list. Not sure why you have Ivory as a sell high though. He should be a solid RB2/borderline RB1 from here on out.

if i had hillman rostered right now he's a hold until further notice. you can get a middling WR like charles johnson at any time fromt he CJA owner for hillman, but for now i would wait and see...

Stefarian Jenkins is on the sell high list. He scored in garbage time while Mike Evans was out. This is by far his best game of the year.

Another sell high could be Demarco Murray. This is just a feeling, and as a Murray owner I hope I'm very, very wrong. He had 2 huge negative plays so his numbers look worse than they maybe were, but he ended the night with 20 yards. If he has a week where Sproles or Matthews take his TDs then he could be a 2-3 point guy. Hopefully the Eagles start doing more North-South running which is his style. But if they keep doing edge rushing, he could be in for a very rough year. It might be best to sell based on Name, Last year stats, and his 14 pts from week 1. As an owner I'm holding, and I hope this is wrong, but this could be the highest Murray's stock is all year.

There are already a bunch of these sell high buy low threads. Try a search or just look in the first page or two.

Eifert is legit. People need to rethink him. He is a top candidate to finish top 3 at TE. I'd be selling Kelce (busted coverage inflated stats) and ASJ (stats boosted by reception from a tipped pass that should've been an INT). Here's the recap about ASJ:

ASJ's first reception was a lucky one. Winston underthrew him near the sideline, and the ball should have been intercepted, but it bounced off the defender's hands and into ASJ's. If the defender had secured the ball, he'd be short two receptions and a touchdown. ASJ followed this play up with a touchdown reception on a shllow out route, beating the defender in coverage and making it an easy throw for Jameis. His second touchdown reception was an impressive 41 yard catch-and-run in the 4th quarter. ASJ "high-stepped" into the end zone despite his team being down 41-7 at the time of the score, drawing some criticism, though surely not from his fantasy owners. ASJ efficiently converted 5 of 7 targets for 110 yards and 2 scores, but as noted earlier, two of those receptions were pretty lucky. Mike Evans will surely soak up some red zone targets once he's back, so this could go down as one of ASJ's finest performances this season. However, he obviously has the physical tools to post big numbers, if Jameis Winston and the Bucs offense can get their act together as a whole.
Kelce:

The second touchdown was the result of blown coverage by the Texans which Kelce happily made them pay for with a 42-yard touchdown reception.

Stefarian Jenkins is on the sell high list. He scored in garbage time while Mike Evans was out. This is by far his best game of the year.
Seferian-Jenkins scored 1 TD in garbage time while the other was early on in the blowout. But he was by far the brightest spot for the Buccs on Sunday. Not sure how to respond to the bolded as it was the ONLY game of the year.

Not everyone knows how to use "Ctrl+F"?

Edit: Wait...this is the "Sell High Buy Low" thread and not the "Buy Low Sell High". I see the difference now.

It would be nice to have the search function documented somewhere. Personally, I don't know how to use it effectively, nor did I know about Ctrl+F until now.

Well, like has been said a brazillion times...the search function sucks.

You can't search individual threads.

But...if you're on the main SP or FFA page, if you type in your search word and then click on the "Google" box, it drops down and you have the ability to search the current forum that you're in. Clunky, but workable I guess.

This really comes out of the utilization thread, which shows that Charles Johnson and Agholor were on the field a lot, nearly all game.... but to me, having seen both games (and watching the Vikes game was difficult) the problems were with the QBs. Bridgewater was way off the mark, and Bradford just seemed to have laser eyes on Matthews and Sproles.

I'm have offered Mark Ingram in a few trades. He looks good now, but with Spiller back it could become a crowded backfield.

Watkins has to be a buy low, but I'm concerned if he will ever be a reliable starter with so many targets on a run heavy O.

Some of the buy low candidates just never work out b/c of what owners invested. I doubt you are going to find anybody willing to give up AP for anything less then maybe a Jamaal Charles or Leveon Bell. It just isn't going to happen after one week. The targets of this list really should be limited to fringe tier players. That's where you find owners willing to be persuaded and more easily influenced off of a small sample size.
This was a good point.

Just sold Hyde for Jimmy Graham in my 8 keepers league.
I don't see the problem here. Graham is 5 years older than Hyde, but TEs probably have about a 3-4 year longer shelf life than RBs. I'm not a huge Graham fan, but I think Hyde just had the best game of his career. Grab some value while you can.

Buys:

Mike Evans - He should be back to full go this week and Winston looks very capable of slinging it. I also think VJax is just a serviceable NFL WR2 at this point. The big games are coming for Evans..could see it happening this week back in Houston where he is from and near where he played his college ball.

Martavis Bryant - Pitt offense is a machine and spares like Wheaton and Spareius Heywood Bay are putting up numbers. Bryant (and Roeth's) upside is off the charts.

Duke Johnson - Talented rookie has inexplicably not been used in the passing game yet. I just think that has to change in the enar future and believe in his talent.

CJ Spiller - Once healthy, this looks like an offense that desperately needs him in the passing game. He only got 7 snaps in week 2. I think some 10 target games are in the very near future for him.

Christine Michael - The Cowboys seem to be very impressed with him in practice. No one has separated from the pack in their current RB stable. And they clearly need to be able to run the ball, especially near the goalline.

Also like Gurley but can't imagine anyone selling before he gets started. I think StL will be close in many games this year, and Gurley is a special talent.

Sell High:

Tom Brady - On pace for 728 attempts, unlikely to continue. He's never thrown more than 640 times. His very high 7.7% TD rate, unlikely to continue. The year he broke the record he had a 7.3% TD rate. Love Brady, but regression likely. Not to mention a sellers market for QB, Romo out, Bradford sucking balls, Brees and Peyton struggling.

Allen Robinson - Week 1: junk, week 2: fantastic. This could easily be a trend for Robinson in the Jags offense. I'm selling my ticket for this roller-coaster while the price is high.

Sam Bradford - Not so much selling high, more like salvaging what you can. Sometimes you have to sell your car to the junk yard for some extra cash. If somebody is dumb enough to give you Mason Crosby or Stephen Gostkowski, take it.

James Jones - still selling high on him, just a little higher after week 2.

Buy Low:

John Brown - We know Arian's will keep chucking it. It's only a matter of time before Brown catches some long tds, as he's already come close.

LeSean McCoy - On pace for 256 rushes, which seems a little low; getting 4.1 ypc, well below his career ypc 4.6. Have a feeling he's about to go crazy one of these games.

DeMarco Murray - It's hard to explain how bad Murray and the Eagles have done so far, especially against Dallas. But have faith that neither a player or a team, could possibly do so poorly over a 16 game season. Depending on the owner, you could get DeMarco on the really cheap.

Davante Adams - When everybody else in the offense is busting it except for one guy, you have to think his day is coming. Not worried about the ankle.

I'm curious how CJ Anderson owners feel right now? banged up, team sputtering, not much production. Would you sell or too soon?

You might if you're 0-2, if you lost Eddie Lacy, or you are worried about CJ Anderson/Demarco Murray/Jeremy Hill/Lamar Miller......and you need RB help NOW.

Otherwise I agree, Gurley is going to be a hold for everyone else.

Brady has 4700 passing yards and 45 TDs in his last 16 games played. He won't have 750 attempts this year, but the Patriots are going to run up the score this year and I can't even begin to guess how many they are going to score against the Colts in a few weeks.

5000/50 is not out of the question for Brady this year. I own him and Gronk in four leagues. It would take a king's ransom to pry Brady away as far as I am concerned.

People wouldn't pay what he is worth because most people won't value him in the Luck or Rodgers tier (even though he should be).

ETA his 4700/45 totals include his brief appearance against BUF in a meaningless Week 17 game playing with scrubs where he only put up 80 yards and 0 TD.

I don't think anyone is selling Demaryius Thomas
Im in the process of getting DT now. Im giving up Jeremy hill and shane vereen for him. Makes me a little weak at RB as I'm stuck with Bernard and Dion lewis as starters till foster returns but my 2wrs and Flex wr will be unreal with julio, edelman, and dt

5000/50 is not out of the question for a player like Brady, but it is unlikely. If you can get a king's ransom he's a sell high.

Is Steve Smith a sell high?

Week 1 and week 2 were night and day.

He's the number 1 option. And almost took a 60 yarder to the house in the 4th if not for a shoe string tackle.

Matt Jones:

Sell high or buy low?

That is do you see him being a RB1 next year when Morris's contract is up? Do you see this stat line of jones from week 2 being a outlier or of things to come?

Lamar Miller, buy
Wouldn't touch him with a pole. Miami is overrated. Defense isn't as good as it was built up to be and Miller rarely sees the field.
Rarely sees the field? Lol he got hurt last game and was pulled out.
Seems to be the story of his career. "Just wait until he gets 20+ touches!"
I guess you took last year off from fantasy football. He finished 9th in total scoring and 13th in ppg for running backs in PPR.

Donte Moncrief sell. I saw somebody paid an early 1st for this guy. He's good, but he's also seeing the 3rd best DB in most cases right now. Dorsett will be worked in and TY is still the focal point here. There will be some big games for him I'm sure, but I don't think the consistency will be there. I'd cash in if I got the right offer.

Awful analysis. Moncrief caught two of his balls against Revis and several against Cromartie (including the touchdown pass, where he was in the slot but was still covered by Cromartie). Andre Johnson is finished and Hilton clearly is not at full strength, may not be for weeks. He didn't look great and he came up limping after a play in the 4th quarter.

You're not paying attention if you think Moncrief has maxed value. Moncrief is going to be a stud this year. Easy WR2 rest of the season. I would be buying all day if I didn't already own him in six leagues.

He's a 3rd round pick in his sophomore season, so clearly has the talent/athleticism, has an amazing opportunity to put up big numbers because the Colts DEF sucks, and has the trust of one of the best QBs in the league.

BANK IT BROHEIM.
