Selvin Young - Questionable (1 Viewer)

I am starting Torain, don't really have a choice. I could see Young getting 15 carries to about 10 for Torain. Shanny is a wilcard.

My concern with that is Peyton Hillis...he, not Torrain, may be the one to start tonight.

I have Torain sitting on both my benches....This situation is too  to start any of these guys unless it's a desperation move this week.

Selvin is STARTING? Why do I get myself involved in this mess... :wall:
Keep in mind that they did have Michael Bennett starting in Tampa last week. I'd still go with Torain if I had to take a chance, but I'm staying far away until we see what happens tonight.

F!@#$% ,

My choices are

Torain vs Cle

or

Addai vs Pitt Def.

I'm going to go with Torain so I can root for my Steelers Sunday and not worry about it then.

NFLN has a breaking news ticker from Schefter that said Torain is starting and Young will come off the bench.

This from Denver Post:

Pregame notes:

- Rookie running back Ryan Torain was one of the first Broncos on the field for early warmups. He’s going to have to carry a big load for the Broncos tonight — no pressure, kid. Denver will likely only activate two tailbacks: Torain and Selvin Young, who is still not 100 percent recovered from a groin injury. Fullback Peyton Hillis could also see some carries if necessary, and backup fullback Spencer Larsen will also be available as a blocker.

Regardless of who starts, this situation has all the makings of a good ol' fashioned cluster####. Throw Hillis into the mix and it's classic Shannahan.

Is there no one other than NFLN to report - I don't trust those guys AT ALL anymore. Between Berrian and Bennett.

CBS

The Broncos will start RB Selvin Young, who missed the last three games with a groin injury, over rookie Ryan Torain in Week 10 at Cleveland. Torain became a likely candidate to start after Michael Pittman and Andre Hall went on injured reserve this week.

(Updated 11/06/2008).

lol. And Deion just said he has an inside source in Denver and they are going to run the ball alot.

"Start" means nothing - that's play / series #1.

Shanny will have RBBC all over this game - and that worked oh-so-well last week.....

Hopefully you don't have a dog in this fight and can sit back and just watch.

:hey: Shark Move is to rent a car instead and entirely avoid this :lmao:

I was starting Torain, but with all the bs coming out tonight, decided to bench Torain and go with Faulk/Moore.

Shaun Rodgers is a beast but the team on a whole has been opening the floodgates to opposing rb's. He can't do it all on his own, plus I dont think he is 100%.

I did not see the game last night, so looking for input into what happened with Young, as he was active, but only got 1 carry? Did he reinjure his groin or just did not push it due to it not feeling right?

I have a league mate pressing me for M. Moore and thinking of asking for Young as part of the return package, as, long term, he may turn out to be the starter.

Yes, I know the cluster#### that DEN RB's are, but, at this point, if Young is healthy, what choice does Shanny have?

after the carry he came up grabbing his groin and asked to be taken out. he got put back in shortly thereafter and threw a block and came up sore again.it was clear he wasn't ready to play and had no business being out there.
