I picked him up before week 5's games (we use blind bidding for free agents); weekly deadline passed before much was reported about the potential Henry suspension. I made a trade w/ the Henry owner prior to the week 6 deadline--I gave SA/Morris/Selvin/Burleson & got Addai/Keith/Stover/Stallworth....so, I basically crewed the other owner--he was scared of losing the Denver RB...

Everything I've read indicates Henry isn't likely to make it past Week 10. Is there new info that I've missed? Please let me know if I'm incorrect with the Week 10 statement.

The way RB's are dropping the best thing to do as a Selvin owner is to hold tight and hope you have a gem for the playoff run.

It is just a hunch considering how legal matters have been handled in the past. I didn't say they will be. I said they could be. I believe John Clayton said any suspension being handed down might not come until the end of November as the appeals process is so slow.

The appeal is going to be heard on the Nov. 5th. He is a dead man walking. You do not win against the NFL. I have Young in both my leagues, I talked to the Henry owner in my main league he is not really interested, but we will see after the hammer comes down.
I just traded Selvin Young, Andre Johnson, & Welker for Calvin Johnson, Cedric Benson, and Greg Jennings. (12-man 2 keeper non-ppr league).
I'm very happy. I like Young and the opportunity potential, but there are no guarantees. AJ may or may not be back until after the bye and Welker (hate to let him go.)
Benson is a very nice RB3. I'd rather have him than Young just because Benson is the clear-cut starter.

Everything I've read states he has a hearing in early November, no one knows if he will be suspended or if the hearing will be moved. But if you got a link stating he is not making it past week ten by the NFL it would be interesting to see it.

I believe that Henry will be out after week 10. DO I have a link? No. Its just a gut feeling, so take it with a grain of salt.Also, I pray I am wrong, since I am a Henry owner. Finally getting to team him up with Sjax and now hes smokes his way out of the league, damn.

Any Selvin owners being offered Henry?
I am in that position now, and am starting to consider it. I am thinking there is still an outside chance Henry finishes the year, and I have the opportunity to get him pretty cheap right now.

I went through some back & forth with the Henry owner - some for him to get SY, others for me to get Henry. I never liked the idea of having both, and the value never presented itself.So in the end I traded SY to him for Deshawn Wynn. (16-team keep-5 league - neither of these would be keeper for me)
Just Traded Selvin for Derek Anderson to the Team who has T. Henry. waiting for commish approval

I just traded for Henry actually.. My Kenny Watson/Hasselbeck for Henry/Kitna. I felt I could risk it with ADP/KJ as my primary backs. I have VY and Schaub and needed to upgrade at QB. I don't think anything will happen with Henry this season (just my hunch) and Watson at best is headed for RBBC when Rudi returns.
Since Miami has Ricky Williams rights and the NFL trading deadline has already passed just how could he in up in Denver this season ?

He was my RB6 and I'm betting Colston turns it around and becomes a very nice WR3 for me.
I'm holding Hall and M. Bell in a deep dynasty league just in case. Too many ?s floating around DEN's run game for me. Maybe I'll regret it, but he wouldn't see the starting lineup for me much anyway.

I wouldn't trade a WR that will probably be productive for 6 more weeks for a RB that might be productive for 3 weeks.
Just traded Selvin Young and V Jack for Bernard Berrien and T Bell. I have LT, LJ, and KJ (Kevin Jones) at RB1-3 so Selvin wasn't ever going to sniff the field for me regardless. Berrien is a better WR than V Jack with Griese at the helm and Chambers in SD. Essentially, I traded Selvin for Berrien. Our trading deadline is in three weeks & no sense taking the chance on a court ruling Henry can play the year out in the meantime. No one wants to give up much until the court decision on the 5th, I don't want to wait that long...need Berriens 20 pts against the kitties this week too bad.

I think you misunderstood. I already owned Henry. I traded Calvin for Selvin, straight up....

I was offered a nice deal for Selvin, but not sure how it would affect my depth. Henry owner offered me TO and Bulger for Selvin/Santonio/Rivers.
I already have Harrison, Braylon and Fitz at WR and Addai/Peterson at RB.
Is selling Selvin a wise thing to do now? Or is he worth it going forward.

I don't know your line-up requirements or situation and I wont answer this as assistant coach forum question, but if anyone offered me TO for Selvin (forget Holmes/Rivers assuming you have a decent QB) I couldn't push the accept button fast enough.I think a lot of people will get burned by depending on Selvin for the stretch run. I'm still not sold that Henry gets suspended at all.TO is a known and Selvin is an uknown simple as that.

i'm a selvin owner, and i think that those of us that didn't sell on him immediately following the news of the test should wait. i think it's been said on here some where before, but pick up Hall just in case....i think/hope that either one is going to be worth a lot more in a couple of weeks than either is worth at this point.
