SENIOR BOWL IDPs (1 Viewer)

Kind of a duplicate of the Shark pool, but maybe we can focus on this forum's reason for existence... IDP'sSome initial thoughts:DBs:James Butler, S, Ga Tech - Looked great in coverage on the pick of Orton. Very athletic. Looks like a RD 2-3 FS.LBs:Morrison, MLB, SDSU - made a lot of tackles during the game. Appropriate for a guy who had 115 each of the last two years.B. Ruud, MLB, NEB - He's much better than Scott Shanle who's also a NEB LB and now playing for the Cowboys. Only had like 2 asst's during the game, but the coaches on both sides singled him out as one of the surprises over the week of practice.McCune, MLB, Louisville - The guy would be a monster tackling machine in a 3-4. I look for SD,HOU,PIT to reach on him in RD2...DL:Swancutt & Roth - very impressive game for these two.Spears I didn't see a lot during the game, but was singled out by Colin Lindsay of GBN (along with Roth) as the Top 2 in camp this week.Patterson & Cody, DTs, USC - Lindsay had these guys tied for third on the most impressive list this week. Super quickness on the inside.anyone else jump out to anyone? Gotta admit to watching the game on TIVO and head-bobbing during most of it....

Leroy Hill is going to be a player. He was the D at Clemson and the word out of the Senior Bowl is that he can really cover.

Jamaal Brimmer, Safety, UNLV flashed some good tackling potential from the safety position. He currently is not rated high as a safety draft prospect, but he could be an interesting sleeper for some IDP dynasty drafts that need a lot of IDP players on their rosters. He might be worth keeping an eye on.

I watched a couple of games with Brimmer this past year. He's a gamer, for sure. Seems like he almost single-handedly beat Wisconsin (in Wisc) as a JR two seasons ago.But several of the mocks sites covering the week of practice singled him out as one of the struggling DBs. It's gonna be interesting to see where he falls. If he falls in the draft he could make an excellent dynasty rookie draft selection with a late round pick. We'll see what opportunity he has with the team that selects him.

All I am saying is he might be a good sleeper, in some Senior Bowl reports, they did mentioned how he struggled in coverage, but they also mentioned how he really laid out some player while making a tackle. He also make some nice tackles during the game. All I was trying to say that he appears to be a hard hitter & a good tackler & might be a sleeper prospect because of his tackling ability. Nothing more.
