Several Unique Leagues Looking For Owners (1 Viewer)

Hey Folks,

I run a bunch of FF leagues and a friend of mine recommended I post a message here to see about getting some owners. So I thought I would give it a shot.

I've been running money leagues for 10 years now and am currently running 18. All of them are different and unique. While I do have the normal Total Redraft leagues, Dynasty League, Small Keeper leagues, the vast majority of them have very unsual rules.

I do this because I like variety in my leagues. I like to make my leagues fun by having different scoring rules, keeper rules, starting lineup rules, drafting rules, etc, etc. If all your leagues are exactly the same, what fun is that? lol

Anyway, rather then posting a message for each league that I need owners for, I thought I would just post a link to my FF league web page. It's called The Ultimate Owner Fantasy Football Leagues. Here's a link to it: http://www.theultimateownerfantasyfootballleagues.com/

Please take a few minutes to go to the Teams For Sale section of the site and look over the leagues I have for sale. They're broken down into Dynasty type leagues, Small Keeper Type Leagues and Total Redraft Type Leagues.

I've got it setup so that you can click on the name of the league and that will take you to the league page, you can click on the Rules or Scoring buttons and that will take you to those sections of the leagues and I have a link there for sending me an email if you want to join one of the leagues.

Please make sure you read of the League Rules, which are located at the bottom of the League Bylaws page in the Additional Rules section before you decide to join. As I said, each league is very different and I want to make sure you understand those rules completely before you join.

If anyone is interested in joining one of these leagues, send me an email to LoneWolf1023@aol.com. Please make sure you let me know which league and team you'd like to take over. If it's a new league, just give me the league name. I'll get back to you ASAP.

PS. I take Paypal or you can mail me a check or money order for all league fees. I guarantee that your money is safe and that if you win money, you will receive it within 2 weeks of the end of the season. Usually faster then that. Anyone who wants referrences, I can have the league winners from last year send you an email to let you know how quickly they got their money. As I said, I've been running leagues for 10 years now, and I'm not going to mess that up by not paying someone the money they have coming to them. Thanks.

BTW Folks,

If anyone is unsure exactly how a league will run or has any questions about any of the leagues or teams up for sale, please feel free to either PM me here or send me an email. I'll be happy to explain anything anyone needs to know. I created every league, so I know all of them inside and out. :jawdrop:

Thanks and I hope some of you will take spots in my leagues.

Still got spots in my two new leagues folks, Top of the Mountain League and the Dual QB Large Keeper League. Get them while you still can.

Not trying to be rude here, but why don't you just use LeagueSafe? You talk about paypal fees requiring you to take a commissioner's fee, but LeagueSafe avoids those fees and ensure the money is secure. Doesn't that seem infinitely better?

Using LeagueSafe would also make me feel more comfortable about giving my money to a guy who made an account a few days ago and can only get you some emails as references (which, to me, don't really prove anything). Again, not trying to be rude, I just don't understand the approach. I might be interested in the Dual QB league, but probably not unless LeagueSafe is used or some very well-known posters vouch for you.

My friend, I've been running leagues for 10 years now. I'm currently running 18 leagues. I use Paypal because I'm comfortable with it and my owners are comfortable with it. I tried Leaguesafe for one of my leagues last year and just didn't care for it. My owners didn't care for it either because for some reason, it took longer for them to get their winnings then they normally would have received it from me.

If my owners want their winnings via Paypal, they get it within an hour of that request. If they want it via Money Order, it takes a little bit longer because I have to pull the money out of the bank, get the money order and put it in the mail. They still get it within 2 weeks of the end of the season. Usually even less, but with the end of the season falling near the holidays, I reserve the right to enjoy the time with my family. They ALWAYS get their money though.

I can understand someone's concern about someone new like me posting about a league and not using Leaguesafe. If that makes you uncomfortable about taking on a spot in my league, then I'm truly sorry you feel that way. Believe me, I play in leagues that are run by others and I'm just as careful about this as you are. I was in a league once where the owner took off with the money. Which is the biggest reason why I run my own leagues now.

As for having someone email me instead of posting a message, I ask for that because I've had it happen before where someone posted a message on the site, the site took a couple of hours to get the message to me via email, and while that was going on, someone else emailed me and I gave them the spot. I apologized to the first person, but this is why I ask to be emailed instead of just posting a message. Plus, I get emails on my phone immediately. I can't sit on these sites and keep an eye on when someone responds about a spot in my league. As much as I would like to.

Finally, as I tell anyone who wants it or asks for it, via email because I'm not posting other peoples emails on this or any site, I can get the winners from any and all of my leagues last year to email someone to tell them when they got their payments.

Heck, if you want to take the time to do it, go to my FF Web site http://theultimateownerfantasyfootballleagues.com/ and click on either of the Starting Lineup leagues, Phoenix leagues, The Ultimate Owner FF League, Ultimate Survivor League or the Ultimate Eight league and then look at the 2009 league page. You can see the messages I posted about payments. I don't recommend this for the other Ultimate leagues, Divisional Challenge, Top of the mountain or Dual QB Challenge because they're new leagues just started this year. As for the Die Hards leagues, I just took them over this season so I wasn't responsible for paying out the prize funds last year.

I know my guarantee may not mean much to you or anyone else on this site who doesn't know me, but I guarantee that anyone who wins money in one of my leagues, they will get their money. Hell, I even make sure that after everyone's paid and before the season starts, I print out a sheet for each league to show each owner, how they paid, and their email address. Just in case, God forbid, I were to pass away before the season ends. I'm only 45 so I hope that doesn't happen any time soon, but better safe then sorry. If that happened, my executor has my instructions to ensure each person gets their money back. I know that may seem anal, but that's how seriously I take doing this.

Anyway, if you're interested in taking on a spot in that league, and want references, send me an email and I'll make sure at least a half a dozen of my winners form last year will email you. If you don't want to take the chance, then no problem and good luck in your other leagues. :)

Only 2 spots left in the Duel QB Large Keeper League and 5 spots left in the Top of the Mountain League folks. If you want a spot, you need to get it now. :goodposting:

BTW since it was a sore spot for some prospective owners, although fully justified as far as I'm concerned, I have done away with the $25 commissioner in this league. Actually, I did away with it in all my leagues.

I think I fully deserve whatever small portion I ended up with from that small amount, but I'm far more interested in filling my leagues then "raking" in the big bucks like some people think I am. So I did away with it.

So nothing to worry about folks. ALL league fees will be paid out minus the $80 site fee from MFL.com. Okay, actually, it's $79.95, but I don't think .05 cents is something to worry about when figuring out the payouts. lol

Anyway, anyone who wants to take on one of these 2 leagues, please email me at LoneWolf1023@aol.com and I'll get you setup on the site. The first ones to email me, gets the spots until both are full. Get your spot while you still can. :banned:
