I think I read an article (Denver Post?) that said he and Cutler discussed going for 2 prior to the drive. I think it had more to do with his defense's inability to stop the Chargers.

Completely disagree. I think kicking the extra point and going into OT tied up would be giving them more of an equal chance than going for the 2-point conversion. By making the 2 points, he actually took away their chance.

Lewis and Floorwax interviewed Scheffler this morning on the Fox radio show. He said that the decision was made before the drive even started to go for two if they scored. Cutler relayed this information to the players in the huddle at the beginning of the drive, and the players were pumped.
