Shark Play of the week is.... Tarvaris Jackson vs Det (1 Viewer)

J. McCown threw up 30/40 for 313 yds, 2TDs and 2 INTs against Det last week... Jackson should be similar... like 250 for 2 TDs.

If your starter has a tough match up or was Eli... T Jax is your man.

Let me guess. You are playing the Jackson owner this week and you hope he reads this thread?

Nice. While I'd recommend starting ANY QB against the Lions, I'm a bit reserved about TJax. He blows.
:shrug:He was decent against Atlanta (#16 in my league). No reason to think Jackson couldn't improve on those stats against the team that made Josh McCown a top-10 fantasy QB last week.

While he has been wildly inconsistent throughout his career and likely will never develop into a quality NFL starter, McCown has put up some big number games in limited action.I will need to see Tarvaris do it even one time before I would consider putting him in my lineup.

I guess there is the possible scenario where the Lions get on top of the Vikings which would force the Vikes to pass. Otherwise, they are a run oriented team.

Good matchup or not, I would hope to have better options for Week 2 than Tarvaris Jackson. Although, he has thrown TD passes in 2 straight games. Only 46 more for the record.

Kelly's Heroes continually posts the dumbest things Ive ever seen in these forums.
I don't like to pile on, but I've noticed this too. However, a positive is that we at least know to cast a very skeptical eye at anything Kelly's Heroes posts in the future.

So who are the QB free agents next year? Should the Vikes draft Colt Brennan?
Romo (expect him to resign with Dallas)Rex (very tough call here. I don't think the Bears would franchise him. And he may feel unappreciated in Chicago. Maybe he heads back to FL with none of those franchises having QB's of the future -- outside of 2nd round choice in Beck -- in place. )Boller (edit: Sorry Boller resigned a deal week or two ago)Leftwich (current)To me, drafting another QB makes little sense. They reached on Tavaris (Childress's guy).

Makes little sense? Since they reached for a guy that's clearly over his head, they should continue to play him?
