Shark Week started last night (1 Viewer)

Mad Cow

Welshers and Dawdlers Beware!
I absolutely have a shark phobia, but darn it whenever Shark Week hits, I watch Discovery every night. The new premiere show is called Blood in the Water, and is a fairly graphic story of the bull shark that killed a ton of people in New Jersey in 1916 and inspired Jaws. Now I know I will never be able to get into any creek anywhere near an ocean.

Turned on Blood In the Water last night. Very good show. Couldn't believe that the lifeguard and those other guys were dragging VanZant back to the beach...with the shark still gnawing on him. No way in hell I would want any part of that. The shark has a hold of you and you are on your own...no way i am getting in a tug of war with a shark with blood in the water.

Same,. My wife was saying that is probably due to the fact that they said man-eating fish were all part of legend at that time period anyway. They had no idea what was going on. Same thing with that tailor dude diving down deep in that creek, seeing the shark eating the kid and punching the shark to recover the body. Idiot.

I fell asleep and missed the very end. The last thing I saw was when they were raising the cage with the 4 people in it. I'm just assuming that Submarine ate everyone and the rescue boat.

Absolutely love Shark week, last nights show with Submarine might have been the scariest thing I have ever seen.

That thing is a monster!
