Shaun Alexander may not return until Week 8 (1 Viewer)

Coach Mike Holmgren said Shaun Alexander may not return until Week 8.

This isn't a huge surprise. Alexander's status for next week is in question, and this news supports that. It sounds like he'll be questionable at best by Wednesday.

Is it just me that remembers Fred Taylor's groin a few years back where he was going to come back, then you heard very little, then Taylor was declared out for the year?

I sure hope im just having buyers remorse.

Good to see.......so he makes his comeback in Arrowhead! That oughta be good for the foot.

SA either had a broken foot all year, and they thought it was bruised until finally getting an x-ray. Or, in half a game he took a bruised foot and broke it. Either way, it never sounded like something a RB could come back from in two weeks as some were hoping.

As a SA owner, I want him fully healthy before he comes back. My guess is he returns at home, on Monday night football in Week 9...

and runs for a $1.50 and 2 scores :banned:

It's just you. A groin pull/tear is in no way comparable to a non-displaced bone fracture. Fractures heal, & film will show it...pulls/strains/tears can linger.
