It is not just this guy I am trying to bash, but you make millions per year! Why throw that away to get high? Are they really that stupid to do this kind of stuff and waste the opportunity they are given? Or can they just not help themselves? I don't understand these stories at all. Makes me sad that there is such STUPIDITY in our nation. I know there are FAR worse problems right now, but to watch these clowns do this and always get in trouble. Do they really think they won't get caught? Ok I am over it, anyone else?

Yes, they really think they will not get caught. By the time they get to the NFL they have been getting high for years. They have had thousands of experiences buying, holding, transporting, and smoking with no adverse legal consequences. The fact is it is next to impossible to get busted unless you are an incredible dumb ###, and even then the odds are on your side. Given -thier experience, and the fact that they know hundreds of other players also getting away with it on a regular basis why would they presume they would be the one to get busted?

The irony is, of course, that the more in grained that attitude gets the more likely they will get avalier enough to get busted.

Let's get the guy on "juice" (Gholston) to fill in for the "reefer man". Welcome to the NFL, what's your drug of choice.

Nice, seems like NFL almost condones this. Juice I can almost understand, trying to get an edge. Weed and coke are just plain stupid. To get rid of steroids they should test when a player enters a league and the day of every game. If they really want to weed out steroids. The question becomes does the NFL, MLB or anyone else ACTUALLY WANT to weed out steroids? Bigger hits, longer throws = more excitement & ratings. If they wanted them gone they could do it, they choose not to. Moreover, it seems as if they do not want entertainment drugs gone either.

Do you know how expensive it would be to test every player in the league every game of the year?

PayRollDeduction- they can spend $50 of their own money every week. Way cheaper than buying drugs, hell they are fined $5000 almost every week anyway.
