Shaun Rogers questionable for week 9 (1 Viewer)

This guy has been a major IDP stud the last few weeks!

I would love to start him in tonight's game, but he is listed as questionable with a rib injury. They think he'll play, but I don't want to start him if the injury is going to slow him down.

Does anyone have further info?

Thanks in advance.

I read somewhere (no link) that he is expected to play. I'm planning on keeping him in regardless.

I am also wondering the same thing. It must not be too serious because we are not hearing anything about this rib injury. I don't think that type of injury will slow Rogers down. The only thing I am concerned about is the matchup against DEN. In my league, DEN allows the fewest fantasy points on average to DL.

Rogers, if there is such a thing, is a matchup independent NT. If he's motivated and healthy enough, he's going to dominate nearly every center in front of him and hold his own against most double teams. This one is close, though. The zone blocking scheme and stellar pass protection the Broncos have provided should limit him some and there's a significant risk of few rush attempts (especially if Rogers is effective).I can't find any specific information in the usual places about Rogers right now. We'll try to get the inactives up quickly this evening to give everyone a cushion to plan around.

I realize Denver's offense is much different than what it was last year but Rogers had a monster game against the Broncos when he was with Detroit last year.

I could opt to not play Rogers and pick up and play Cory Redding, Det. He has a particularly good match up this week against Jax.

What do you think? Sit Rogers and play Redding?
